most people don't know this but psychologists are extremely good at sorting out who has a real mental problem and who's faking it. They get their hopes up in an interrogation playing dumb since the cops lead them on but it doesn't hold up in court when they're found to be able to stand trial and it's clear to everyone they lied through their teeth the whole time
