Cop Gets 5 Years in Prison For This Video

A Kentucky State Trooper (Hayden Kilbourne) was just sentenced to 5 years in prison. His former employer, the Kentucky State Police just released the bodycam footage from the incident that caused him to lose his career and his freedom. What did this trooper do that was so bad, or even different from so many other videos I’ve shown you? Is this a rare example of the system actually working as intended, or is there more to the story here?

  1. Do you think Kilbourne really believed there was some active resistance occurring, or was he just engaging in gratuitous violence? Should we applaud the KSP for acting quickly and doing the right thing here? Or were they just covering their own asses?

  2. Five years is not enough. any cop that attacks a person in the head or neck area should be charged with attempted murder. Especially if the person is threatening to kill an individual as shown here. A major problem in our society and police culture is the use of force/ violence. There’s got to be a better way.

  3. I think it matters not their motivation. If they did the right thing, and I believe they did, the KSP should be commended for holding the trooper responsible. However, as I watched the moment the baton went into action, I immediately thought, why isn't the other trooper intervening?

  4. Lying on the ground both hands up and visible, taser darts still in him… he's subdued. Officer two let officer one beat the suspect while still pointing his weapon at the suspect. Failure by KSP for not firing both cops!!! The sickness continues.

  5. What you always forget to mention is the police are only Security Guards, originally created to protect governments & big business at taxpayer expense and thats why so are so corrupt when dealing with the worthless people.
Time to change their swaring into office oath.

  6. what about the trooper with him he is suppose to try to protect the suspect and stop the officer as much as he can he just stood there and pointing a tazer at the beaten man I'm shocked that the troopers followed the.law and the.was.no.treat.runninh.away. is not violent and I could help but run from him he plan to beat him regardless I hope the.kentucky.state.police has decided to finally protect and serve and not attacked her the other officer should be in a cell also and it's so strange they did the right thing their real job is like to believe it was for good but I just dont

  7. ur beating his hands n arms and telling him to show his hands like wat yo smh.they wanted a reason to do eithr 2 things and thats even beat his ass like they did or shot him like they was bout to smh wow this sad ..yeah sue they ass for all u can and leave nothing on the table,go after his family if u can in anyway do it

  8. It's always been known that violent thugs in uniform use "STOP RESISTING" and, in this case, "SHOW ME YOUR HANDS" as a cover to inflict violence and severe beatings on citizens.
They usually get away with it when the video isn't as clear as the audio.

  9. "This trooper violated the sacred duty of policing" how by being caught? As if that usually makes a blind bit of difference. Perhaps he upset the blue line gang in some way and they decided not to close ranks to protect him.

  10. 🇬🇧❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 it's absolutely shocking, but it's also shocking that a police officer is shouting I'm going to fucking kill you, & I bet many have , plus I think police officers should be drug tested , & the other police officer didn't stop him. You can only imagine what goes on in the own homes
