Watch Live: Antifreeze Murder Retrial — WI v. Mark Jensen — Day Six

Mark Jensen was charged in 2002 for the 1998 death of his wife Julie Jensen and convicted in 2008. Prosecutors say he poisoned his wife with antifreeze and then smothered her with a pillow when she wasn’t dying fast enough. In 2013 a federal judge overturned that life sentence, arguing a letter Julie had written before her death shouldn’t have been admitted as evidence. In that letter, Julie wrote that she was afraid her husband would try and kill her. Jensen will now face trial for a second time in January 2023.

Reminder: The defendant, Mark Jensen, is wearing headphones because he’s hard of hearing. Thanks.

  1. So the defence is suggesting breaks now for the prosecution case. Well I think she can figure that out for herself, thank you very much and the judge seems to agree with me. Getting more and more annoyed with this pair of defence ladies.

  2. This evidence is soo damning. He himself stated she couldn’t get out of bed. So who else would have researched all of this right before she died?? Just give it up already.

  3. The testimony and explanations of the IT dude, are making me suspect this entire trial. Bring qualified people who give true information. This is a scandel in motion.

    We don't download the internet.
    What a crack of nosense.

  4. I keep thinking about the two sons and what they went through back when they were both little and this happened. They loved their mom so very much and needed her. How sad and heartbroken they must have been. Then dad brings in his sleaze-bag girlfriend. That must have been unbearable for them, but it gets worse. The creepy lurch-face dad marries the sleaze and then they have a baby. Then they get divorced. Too much. Those poor kids just wanted to stay home with her that day. 💔

  5. At 7:54:18 there are other programs installed that show the family uses this computer including Reading Blaster-a kids’ learning game and Greetings Workshop, which makes Hallmark type greeting cards. Julie was the “crafty” one, I’d imagine she was more likely to use that than Mark.

  6. saying that the harassing postcard they tested for handwriting didn't match his must mean someone else sent it. i hear all this guilty stuff in chat but are people listening to this trial. every witness the prosecution puts on gets debunked.

  7. He doesn't look happy his buddy has swapped seats, take it he doesn't like him, saying that neither did Darrell Brooks,he fired him and went on his own.

  8. Ok, hear me out…..first, I DO think he’s guilty. I think he is a strange, strange man. A very creepy man. BUT, trying to look at this from a non biased place, I’m not sure that any of this evidence is REALLY overwhelmingly convincing. I mean there’s common sense, but beyond a reasonable doubt….I’m just not sure. It’s not like they have his fingerprints on the antifreeze container. It’s all very circumstantial. Again, I think he’s guilty just from a gut feeling. But I’m not sure that is enough.

  9. I do not believe that mark Jensen is guilty I think he was falsely accused a lot of information was never even brought in to this case Unfortunately many years ago we spent time together in a cell All the way to where he is today Somebody needs to really investigate this on his behalf

  10. Watching Day 6. The defense is so put out by the investigating detective. Their facial expressions are uncalled for and unprofessional. The attorney with Jensen is still making goo-goo eyes at the defendant. He is doing it back. Unprofessional and disgusting.

  11. Deportation government requirements but not opitions. notes ILR 📝 SWITCHING TO change undapants visa application and have to defend life here and after ….(mcc).go to somelse door with that body of histroy ….wish to be trouble to free to see world 🌎

  12. I don’t believe she was on the Paxil or ambien for very many days before she died. Why was she taking ambien more than once a day? Still it was only a short period of time and Mark was feeding her these pills night and day

  13. I am pleasantly surprised with how human this judge is. I don’t know if this is correct / common practice but I think it is wise to be cognizant of the jury’s ability to absorb the details being presented.

  14. I haven’t heard if they found any trace of anti freeze in the house, but I don’t think the monster would have left any evidence around. He had too much time to clean up ☹️
