How do you not know he murdered his son and wife after hearing all the evidence?
They all had there hands in the cookie jar not just Alec with the money in the law firm they didn't know money was missing for a long time something else was going on than just Alec .
This firm knew from almost always what the Murdaughs were doing. You swindle a 100 the accounting dept immediately knows. In millions I can bet my jackass they knew. They felt confident this fellow will dwindle another persons case and get the money back. It must have been a routine till this guy screwed up to no return. They fired him to clean their hands. But this firm knew always what this man or family was into. Don’t think all viewers are fools.
I think out of all of this what baffles my mind the most is not the theft and murder but it is all of these lawyers being so negligent when it comes to firearms and firearm safety
I don't think the defense attorney got the answer he was hoping for to his question at 2:44. While it's true that Ball didn't say "yes," he certainly didn't say, "Oh no, Alex would never, ever do such a thing."
Did the wife kill the maid..Did Buster kill that young man on the road..Paul was the reason that young woman was killed and now the father has taken out his family. Death comes easy to some.
Didn’t lose the firm. Just had to change the name. No way Alex stole money for over 10 years and the partners, comptroller and paralegal’S didnt know. Maybe everyone was involved. Nothing adding up. Feds coming.

In regards to Buster, he looks more curious as to what happens next, as opposed to someone completely devastated by the loss of his mother and brother. Medicacation? He should look dazed, weary, distant. Whether he has has friends consoling him or not, the mere mention of Maggie and Paul's names and description of their murders should be enough to shatter him. They did not die instantly for goodness sake. He should be feeling every moment of their agony, no matter what or who he has to console him. He does not cry, he sits forward in his seat, alert and curious and glances at his dad for reactions as if waiting for it all to unravel. I rest my case!
Defense attorney got caught with having the wrong info when he didn't realize that Maggie and Paul were already dead when Alex got fired. WItness bailed him out.

I think possibly one of the people he stole from wanted revenge for him ruining THEIR life and went to go kill HIM but he wasnt there so they went for the next best thing (if not better) and killed his wife and son so he would have to suffer

To anyone who asks why would he commit these murders… he was going down for the financier ones and he knew it. This isn’t a happy family who were just victims of vigilantes. Alec was going to jail for a very very long time. All his finances, and the very legacy his own father had built and entrusted to him, would be scrutinised and picked apart by the government. Alex did this to prevent his family’s legacy from being completely obliterated. This way, Buster can still carry on the name along with the money Alec has hidden for him. Money which, if Maggie and Paul were alive, would’ve all went to Paul’s defense and Maggie, had she divorced Alec after his financial conviction.
Alex is just sitting there, hearing his former partner say that it cost the firm $10 or $11 M dollars to cover all the damage done by Alex — most of which came out of the pockets of the firm — and Alex just sits there like a Cheshire cat, not a care in the world. No grimace, no remorse, no feeling of any kind. He's a psychopath. And I believe he is guilty of this crime. I encourage anyone in doubt to go watch the videos put out by the various behavior experts, like The Behavior Panel. They all identify his body language as not just deceptive but outright lying. I suspect he is one of those malignant narcissists who fools everyone with his false-fronts, and clever manipulations, for years and years… until the jig is finally up. SMDH. Let's hope the jury sees through the supposed arguments of the defense, see Alex's pattern of manipulations and lies (and strategic facades), and tallies up all the evidence presented by the prosecution, and comes to the correct conclusion: GUILTY.
