47:04 Alex arriving at court.
1:21:00 Day 2 cross examination begins.
2:31:41 Day if the myrders.
Paul’s feet swelling didn’t look like it was from HTN. For as swollen as they were at his age it points towards either CHF or chronic alcoholism which does cause HTN and also CHF. It’s so extreme. It cannot just be HTN.
wouldnt you cheeck someone B$ you called 911 otherwise you don't know what you are calling about
What was his nickname for Buster I wonder 🤔😊
Why would he only think of himself instead of the last time he saw them alive?
Alex sounds like a pamphlet he read at his “rehab†in Florida. Also he was practicing law while in Florida “rehabâ€ðŸ™„ Since when did Oxy give ppl energy? And the man drank like a fish
I think he is guilty but I don’t think they have proven it beyond reasonable doubt. Sled was very sloppy. They got lucky with Paul’s phone video. I don’t think they would have convicted him without that kennel video. That was the nail in his coffin
Both Paul and Alex records show taking exactly 283 steps each. odd
Paul Paul, Pa Pa is on the pill pill
I mean to be fair, I wouldn't remember where I set my phone down when I came home from work on any given day 2 years ago. That's a ridiculous thing to expect of anyone.
The way Alex Murdaugh smacks his lips over and over again when he gets upset, or is trying to look upset, drives me absolutely nuts.
Why did he say “I would never hurt Maggie Murdaugh!†This is so 🚩🚩🚩
Why would he say “They hated ‘Paul Murdaugh!’ That is weird! 🚩
This guy is another level “pathological liarâ€
A more self absorbed, manipulative narcissist, I have never seen!

The jury should be able to submit a limited amount of questions that have to be answered.
If I was on the jury I would need to know about the clothes in the video and the prosecution didn’t go there.
The drug addiction was total BS, he shouldn’t be alive if what he was taking, another Google search by AM and add abit more drama to it
I’ve listened to the trial several times, until now I’ve never heard one person mention or comment why wasn’t AM covered in blood or apparently being checking for pulses, how come the sole of his shoes not have blood on them.
Why did the State avoid this?
With his family and son backing him 100%, it makes me feel like they all might have an unexplained death in their past. At the very least i feel like the majority of them knew he was guilty and still tried to do whatever to get him out clean. I really feel like john marvin was involved with the murders as well as the court threat that came in earlier in the trial. The only time i didnt see john marvin in the court room was during that threat.
I think he said anything about the phone during his because he probably noticed the investigators and their reaction to the phone.
Remember the officer said he noticed him watching everything they did.
1:20:06 trial starts
Okay here is my hypothesis (totally speculation and would not hold up in court) according to everyone who knew Paul, Alex included, he was a well-meaning kid who had some flaws and the media has represented him in a poor light. Paul and Alex agreed that he would go into rehab after the criminal trial for the boat wreck was over. Paul also had high blood pressure (odd for a 22 year old and sounds stress-induced to me).
So…WHAT IF the guilt of Mallory Beech's death was weighing on Paul and he wanted to confess to manslaughter but Alex wouldn't let him and either threatened to cut him off or pleaded with Paul, appealing to their close relationship. Alex didn't want Paul to ruin their family name and he didn't want the civil investigation to be further fueled by Paul's confession, thus eventually leading to his finicial lies being exposed. I speculate that Paul had enough of both his guilt and his fathers drug habit so he was going to plead guilty to expedite his criminal case in order to force his father into rehab. Alex didn't want Paul to plead guilty (which is why he was so obsessed with clearing Paul's name after his death) and he did not want to stop taking pills. Maggie knew Paul's plan, which is why she was worried about finances for once, which is why Alex killed her too because he knew she wouldn't let him get away with killing her son. She would testify against him and tell the truth about their relationship near the end. And that's why Alex killed them both. I firmly believe this was all planned in advanced and the Farris fees were just the straw that broke the camels back. Again, this is all speculation.
I'm Angenette Levey and you're watching Disney Channel
I noticed that Alex frequently begins his answers with the phrase "I believe," which I suspect is a means of framing what is a false statement into one that is technically true. People have free will to believe whatever they want and I think that he is exploiting that fact to try to convince himself that he is being honest.
AleX Murdaughrer….if you took all those pain pills every day you would be SEVERELY CONSTIPATED and in the hospital with a BOWEL OBSTRUCTION! LIAR LIAR BOXERS ON FIRE!. Do NOT blame your "opiod addiction" for your evil disgusting behaviors of stealing from others millions of dollars and slaughtering your son and wife. Simply put…you are a P.O.S and are where you belong.
This man is a cold blooded killer… I can't believe how he is continuing his lies at the crime scene and even on the stand. He has no real emotion in him to stop the lies, he is a very twisted individual. He will be tormented by his wife and child, and may he rot away in his cell and feel how those two people felt when he did what he did. Rest in Peace Maggie and Paul 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿
If I were the prosecutor, I would say, “you have a good enough memory to tell, in detail, a story of something that didn’t happen and you told it 4 times with perfect consistency. But you can’t remember any details of what really happened
Many of us have lost someone in our lives. It seems like we tend to hang onto the memory of the last time we saw a friend or loved one. It’s in our nature to want to remember every detail of the last time we had with them. Yet somehow Alex doesn’t remember what he and his wife talked about or any details. That’s not evidence, but it doesn’t pass the smell test.
"There was nobody else around that the dogs didn't know." Exactly.
Richard Dreyfus as the prosecutor.
I love how when he pretends to hold in his faux-lizard skin crocodile tears, he rocks back and forth and turns red like he's taking a hard doody.
Rewatching this as I am crazy and don't have a life.. but I forgot the very powerful ending to CW cross. Kudos to the prosecution!!!
Who is lady behind Harpootlian that is always there? What's her role?
So many hosts and guests proved themselves to be completely clueless 🙄It turns out the prosecutors did an excellent job according to the jury. Alice and Brett on “prosecutors podcast†were the only commentators that nailed it!
Yeah, a lot of people saw me withdrawing, bus, Paw paw, mags, ole skeeter,Tommy two times, ray ray and the whole gang.
I honestly believe his cry is legit , he never thought Paul would survive the first shot and the way he has shoot him the second time and the aftermath of that second shot is what he is crying about …. When it’s just Maggie there is not the same emotional response. Paul needed to die to make the disclosure go away . Maggie was somewhat done and starting to get that things where not okay . I reckon she was about to leave and why he begged her to always stay. So they had to go , it’s why you see regret when he learned that Maggie was concerned about him ….. He never thought they would look this deep into his story . He thought his name they would take what he said at face value maybe check his phone , but he never thought they would go this far or this deep into his life
Every single statement sounds rehearsed … through this trial and throughout every police interview
50 to 60 pills a day. Lol. NO WAY😮
1:20:00
We start again, will Prosecution continue to display Alex's lack of expressions of remorse?
