what surprises me is that at some point they didnt continue with the 12year old height issue.
They demonstrated it could have been in a kneeling position aswell, then they left it there…maybe tactical but they didnt follow through like actually demonstrating kneeling position…strange.

Why do they let him continue to talk and give lengthy explanations? In every other court case I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen ALOT, they cut them off and only make them answer yes or no. If they wanna explain that’s for cross examination when their attorney gets up there to question them. Are they giving him special treatment or are these just not very good attorneys on this case?

I just watched the Netflix show. Why didn’t the cheques to cousin Eddy from Murdaugh before and after the murders get brought up. Murdaugh said cousin Eddy did the botched murder attempt for free. The cheques show cousin eddy was getting thousands from Murdaugh.

I don’t care if he’s convicted of Maggie and Paul’s murders at all. And I don’t care if he goes to prison for the millions he stole from his scumbag lawyer friends. He’s still going to prison for about 30 years for the millions he stole from innocent clients. The only victims are the clients he stole from and the others are collateral damage

Poor guy loses his wife, son and the first thing everyone does is accuse him of doing it. He made bad decisions but it doesn't make him a murderer. I don't believe he killed his son.

Pa Pa l….I never heard anyone call him this until Alex takes the stand. Alex is making him sound like Winnie the Pooh, a child persona. Like he would never hurt Pa Pa.
In cross examination he said he didn’t want to stay at the kennels because he would have to work and get sweaty. He said “ when Maggie asks I have to do it†meaning what she wanted. So he got the chicken and left immediately for the house. I thought he looked angry about having to answer to Maggie. Maybe with all his exposing of his theft, debt, Maggie’s spending, Paul’s pending lawsuit made him snap and kill them.
Did waters talk to murdaugh in cross examination about the blue vest/tarp. Like why would he visit his sick mother carrying this into the house? It’s ridiculous!

Watching Netflix and in the 911 call Alex Murdaugh tells the operator when he calls that he already touched the bodies after the operator tells him not to touch the bodies.
The Murdaughs Dynasty was at stake. Paul had to go.

The prosecutor is attacking a lot of inconsistencies, but is not establishing that Alex actually committed the murders.
There's no excuse for the prosecutor's badgering. We all know he's a liar. Personally, I had to turn it off because his questioning was so redundant and pointless. I've watched crime trials for the last 40 years and regardless of guilt or innocent, the real gist of the state's case is that its been from day one of the shooting completely laser-focused and inept. I stand 100% behind LE, but in this case, the word, defund, appears to fit. The entire county needs retraining.

Prosecutor has done a great job in bringing up all of Lex's financial crimes! The prosecutor has also done a TERRIBLE job of finding anything connecting Alex to the murders. He will walk for the murders…
His whole life he's been going further and further out of control, lying about drugs, stealing money, lying to his family, friends, colleagues at work, clients, then he moved on to murder. I'm fact any people who knew the Murdaugh's started dying & then people who worked for the family died & then it's Alex wife & son. Him bringing up the Boat Crash was a low as you could go. He's a scumbag killer, plain & simple.

How long he had an addiction? Surely any case he worked on should be thrown out.
This is difficult for me, I grew up with someone close to me being an addict, they lie, oh wow do they lie! But they also have brain issues after years of use once they get clean. Could that be some of his issue? I know he is a terrible person and I'm not denying that at all…this is just a passing thought so please don't attack me, I also know that addicts have ZERO concept of time, but it's usually reversed and they think it's just been a few minutes and it's been an hour or two.
