That Crime scene was a blood ath ,blood spatter everywhere, HIGH VELOCITY BLOOD SPLATTER GOING EVERYWHERE , AND NOT ONE SPEC OF BLOOD HAS EVER BEEN FOUND ON ALEX AND ABSOLUTELY NOT ONE SPEC OF BLOOD OR ANY BODY FLUID ON ANY OF ALEX'S CLOTHES, SHOES, VEHICLES?????????, IT IS IMPOSABLE HE WAS THE SHOOTER
At best, this witness is supremely incompetent. At worst (and most likely), he's knowingly muddying the waters in exchange for payment.

I think the guilty verdict came about because of all the testimony about the stolen funds. With no motive and no murder weapons it should be difficult to come to a guilty verdict. With all that being said,I think he did the murders.

I think there is a lot more to the story. It goes much deeper than we know. We still do t know where all the money went. Who was he paying off or back. Why didn’t the state try to get to the bottom of that. I believe the state knows more of the story as well being that it’s a small town and the court system ALL knew each other.
Only a lawyer would know 2 guns and one shooter would mess up an investigation.
I think he was going to be the target but wasn't home and either people who'd been stolen from or family of dead boat girl made moves. . . Just my opinion 🤣

My opinion and simple explanation as why 2 guns were used. Alex decided at some point at the Kennels to kill Paul and Maggie. Maybe fueled by rage that they were confronting him about his pills/drug usage, the fact Paul's boat case put his finances under the microscope, Maggie looking to divorce him as she was becoming aware or close to realizing the scope of what was going on with finances, and the pressures of being exposed by his law firm with implications of millions of dollars of theft, Alex grabbed Paul's shotgun from the golf cart not realizing there were only 2 rounds in it. Maggie would have been around the side of the building dealing with the dogs. She may have been near the tree line. Alex shot Paul twice then realized it was out of ammunition, so he ran back to the cart to get the AR 15 300 Blackout. Maggie heard the shots and came running only to see Paul dead and Alex pointing an AR at her. Who knows why Paul had only 2 rounds in the shotgun but it has been said he was bad about his guns. Just an after thought to Paul putting the shotgun on the golf cart with only 2 rounds but a total surprise to Alex. Maybe Paul had fired it recently and just forgot to reload it fully or he was not worried as he had an AR15. But had it been fully loaded, Alex probably would have used it on Maggie as well. Easy explanation as to why he used to guns. And I do believe the golf cart had the 2 guns Just my opinion.
Um, two shooters means someone had to know, in advance, there would be two people down at the kennels… to shoot…. it’s not rocket science…

Wife was leaving him and was going to cost him half of his assets, son was a liability that was going to cost him millions and pretty much take the rest of his assets. Maybe I'm wrong but this seems like the most likely scenario.
