The fact that Ameen Hurst escaped from state road is crazy cause he also caught one of his bodies on state road, he had the drop on one of his opps getting out and killed the wrong person right on the jail property
Imagine how it felt bein down for 4 bodies and you’re actually escaping from prison that moment had to be nuts

The day before he got booked I almost cussed his mom out she pulled up and doubled parked by another double parked car I couldn’t get thru them. I’m like can you move back just a lil she just kept going in the house. I backed out the block the next day I saw that crib on the news 😂😂😂

I watched youngn grow up he used to play ball at the parks in southwest. His pops was one of guys the streets didnt play with. Wawa was locked up most of most of Meen life then his mom had to do a bid. Wawa come home and diabetes started getting the best of him. He lost his leg and then his vision and a year later Wawa passed away. I think thats when Meen got reckless when his pops passed.

I spent 19 months on state rd before going upstate and during those 19 months I spent about 6-7 months in PICC and im not surprised they were able to escape their cells and jail because the COs are ALWAYS leaving the block for like 30-45mins doing whatever they do.
Humans aren't meant to be locked up like animals. I'm speaking from experience and can say that if you don't have a support system while you in and once your out, the chances of going back are high. Thankfully I had that and changed my life got back on track. I met others inside though that didn't have that, which just leaves you lonely. That leads to anger and discontent. Anger and frustration with being locked up, mistreatment by CO, lack of constructive ways to release frustration or get your mind right. Being short staffed is inexcusable and not offering basic things for these men just breeds more rage. If you ever been in you have seen that cycle and you see guys come back. I was in less then a year at 19 and saw a guy who was 21 come in and out 3 times on separate charges. We need better programs to prepare guys for release, would be great if business would step up and be willing to offer some sort of work even if the company gets a tax break or something. Anything to give hope other wise they end up back in the street selling or robbing to simply make ends meet.
I'm from Philly I did a lot of time in this jail cfcf and Picc for things I did not even do altogether 6 years it's hell I been through some bad stuff in here and had to turn into a animal just to keep your stuff use the phone keep your respect things that I'm not happy about I'm a family man and do everything in my power to keep my kids out of here if you never been trust me it's bad and no one cares what they don't tell you is a lot of the CO's bring in knifes drugs phones money talk I even had a relationship with a Aramark worker that worked in the kitchen I've hurt people and been hurt alot of stuff I'll never talk about but this what come with it but take it from me it's alot of men in there for nothing like I said I did nothing to be there my Baby mother at the time her nephew is and was selling drugs I worked every day they rated my house found guns drugs money I beat the charges eventually after I added more charges in jail just to survive it changed me as a person I was in and out for 5 years after that and I don't have a record at all in Philadelphia you will go to jail for what ever and stay tell you go to court this is how they make there money it don't matter if you did it or not they went you to go and take you back and forth to court they throw a lot of cases out everyday but they lock alot of people up also they don't care they know what there doing getting money from please locking us up I'll never go to jail again for nothing we having court right there if you know you know …….

Man we was popping gates open at PIC back in 2007 when I was 18 lol but it wasn't to escape it was to get drugs from other cells and to get some one ninedy (aka Pipen Hot Water) for soups/chee-chees
