I grew up in the 90's, and I can without a doubt, correlate rap music like trap and drill, promoting gangs, murder, and degeneracy, with what we see in places like Philly, Chicago, LA, St. Louis, etc… These kids are growing up, listening to rappers like YB, King Von, Von1700, 1900 Rugrat, etc…, and they want to be what they see and hear in the music and videos. They believe that getting "hats", makes them official. When I was a kid, we had fist fights. There were shootings and stabbings too, but not like what's going on today. These music labels are promoting a psy-op, that's causing the rise in violence, murder, drug use, and degeneracy. It doesn't help when the kids parents are trash. I'm all for free speech, but I hate how trap and drill music is being used to brainwash kids and slow adults.

43. I was a School beat officer at West Philly High School when BK, Jae 100, Kevon Lee, Nafeac, Nakir Sylvester, and Kyree Pratt were all freshmen. Kyree was already a demon. The other kids were knuckleheads, but I could tell then Kyree would end up exactly where he is now! The crazy part is out all the kids I named, 2 are locked up for homicides, and the rest are dead. It’s really sad looking back on it. Maybe if they were born somewhere else they would have had a better chance of making it, but this is the stuff that inner city kids go through everyday.
