The world we live in you can just say something and it makes it true. Iraqis and Muslims don't do honor killings. That's strictly an Indian thing. And it's usually premeditated meaning they don't do it in front of people they usually take you back to India. These parents sound like they were just fed up. With their child dating her boyfriend. And when they showed up to school, things got out. of hand. There's so much more to the story I believe. What happens when you don't want your child to have a boyfriend but they don't want to listen. That's just the beginning and end of the story.

That what you say is correct. The why is not the crime. The who what where how is the crime. They choked their daughter in an attempt to cause bodily harm or de*th in a corporal punishment type of way. Where it was done is at the schools bus stop. How, is the beating and punching and choking! Who, is the two parents. They should also be charged with assault on Isaiah the boyfriend. Breaking the protective order to keep 1000 feet from the young man. And assaulting the others who attempted to help.

I worked for Jose Menendez and with Lyle, one of the brothers, if they are back on the street no one is safe. Their abuse claim is just a way to justify a heinous crime. What they did to their mother is horrible, there is no justification for it.

It’s the cultural regardless that they live in the USA. Their mentally is Iranian. This type of killing is common unfortunately. So sad for these young girls.

The dishonor killing couple are lying about taking the sons to Iraq to get Iraqi passports. With an Iraqi born father they are assumed Iraqi citizens and can obtain an Iraqi passport via the Iraqi embassy or consolation here in the US.
My question is his kind of crime so called “Honor†happens to many times around the world, including here in canada. At what point we’re going to make laws targeting this specific crime to send a strong message?
I strongly disagree with the Judges’s ruling on this one. Let the jurors know the true motives of the parents for fks!
