Sometimes death is too easy, it would all be over for him whilst basically sedated, which is humane. He didn’t treat her with any humanity. To have to live life in a prison is something he will die slowly doing. That’s more torture than death

Seems like it would be very easy for criminals to deliberately perform poorly on an IQ test in order to avoid the death penalty. I can't imagine any killer actually making an effort on ones of those tests anyway. What motivation would you have to do well, when doing badly could save your life?

I don’t understand why the death penalty is still being used. Life in prison with zero chance of parole is worse than death and is less expensive. Can’t we move forward from the dark ages?

This guy should be imprisoned but vengeance by condemnation to death is not justice. How many of these CW shows show whites receiving 11-20yrs or sometimes less for murders? How many death penalty sentences? Until we have justice reform where all criminals are sentenced equally, no one should be put to death. Murder is a horrible crime and this poor young lady lost her life insensibly. We really need to focus on interventions to prevent these things from happening like youth guidance programs for troubled teen & mentorship. Where ever you have poverty, lack of parenting, lack of support, poor education these issues arise. Then this mom would have her daughter! I spent the summer in Alaska & rapes, thefts, & assaults are rampant due to meth & heroin use. No jobs, no access & inflation puts everyone at risk. We have to start at the root of these problems. We also have to be judicially fair & equal. He has a n IQ of a mental retardation dx therefore cant reason as well! What do we use as an excuse for serial white murderers? Insanity & mental health(poor….he was….his family was a great…..he must have had a breakdown. (Excuse) Killers deserves to be severely punished but he wasnt born a murderer. We really have to do better with our communities. Ppl are saying give the death……. but I rarely see that on other episodes. If death is the penalty, let everyone receive that sentence. Not just brown murderers & serial white murderers, all murderers. Who are you to wish death on anyone?
