DETAILS: https://thecivilrightslawyer.com/2024/12/05/cops-told-injured-woman-to-walk-to-the-next-town-13-minutes-later-she-was-dead/
Two Sheriff’s deputies (Deputies Philpot and Cobb with the Dunklin County Sheriff's Office) responded to a woman lying on the shoulder of a highway. The woman tells the deputies she was fleeing domestic violence. After talking for nearly 18 minutes, the woman, who very clearly appears to be drunk, asks the deputies for a ride away from the pitch black highway. The deputies talk it over and decide they don’t want to. They tell her to just keep walking. The woman pleads with the deputies to taker her to a gas station. But they leave her and tell her to keep walking down the dark road.ÂÂ

She died feeling so lost and alone. May her soul rest peacefully 😢
They are even laughing at her. Insane cops.
Commie cop's in the USA. No wonder the cops in the USA are hated so much. This is making me hate them even more.
TO SERVE AND PROTECT.
Wow rly she has a broken shoulder and they are running her name. She clearly said that she was just beat by some guy. The cop even said the knot on her head looks fresh.
They should have taken her to jail to spend the night in the drunk tank. I think they tried to do her a favor by letting her go, but she was too drunk to function in society.
To protect and serve, at least call a taxi, not against ridership ( thier policy) i agree with tcrl and family
Finds her crumpled up on the ground, "I'm trying to walk but I can't"
"My whole shoulder's broke"
We don't want to help, keep walking two more miles, lady, and take your stuffServe and protect……if you have no empathy or compassion, you can't serve and protect….. you can't!!!!
The bottle went missing
Tampering with evidence
proves my point that, "police are not out there to help people" as they are not a part of humanity. Lazy, no moral character, corrupt, police trash! They only tear down and never build up or put back. Shameful!
Supreme Court has ruled that cops are under no obligation to help anybody. Now they have their license to LIE, CHEAT, STEAL and MUDER called Qualified Immunity. They did nothing wrong, because they did not have to. Just more of the same old crap. Bad guys hide behind the law.
Defunded police.
Is there a thing called public drunkenness. I know of a couple of people who were arrested for this. Why they didn't they check her alcohol level? My heart goes out to her loved ones and the truck driver.
Aren't police cars protected by a divider in police cars 😮. There was no excuse not to give her a ride.
It was their job to protect & serve. Perios.
Missouri is a garbage state needs a lot of work.
Yeah… Sad times. ðŸÂ·ðŸÂ–ðŸÂ·ðŸÂ–
Of all the stories you've covered, I think this one sickens me the most.
Missouri police seem pretty heartless, if she had a visable knot on her head then this is a clear case of negligence on there part.
How much you had to drink tonight, can I see some ID, where you going, PATHETIC COP trying to make her into a perp., and fuck your policy you spitting disrespectful pricks !
Police
There are 42,000 car accident related deaths per year in the US. There are 40 kids per second that go missing totaling out to around 800,000 children per year. Police will claim that they aren’t safe when all they do is drive around all day pulling people over or “keeping the roads safe†is their biggest priority. The reality is that children are the most vulnerable in our society. You should really ask yourself why is there so much time spent on the roads and not foot patrol getting to know the neighborhood and connecting with the people? I feel like the real police work is not being done and there is more money incentive driven policing strictly based on enforcing traffic laws. It is in my opinion and as well as many others that police should spend less time in cars and more time on feet watching the neighborhoods. How do we get to a point where we are preventing crime or deterring it instead of officers thrill riding chases and traffic stops?
Should ask them if it was their kid or their family member would they tell them to continue walking? If no, then yes they are liable. Absolutely.
"My car is full"
NO Public Servant, it's OUR CAR. And if it's full (it's not), move some stuff around, call another one of OUR cars to come get her, get her an Uber, etc. You know..get creative, like you do when you violate the publics constitutional rights over and over. Worthless tyrants.
🇦🇺ðŸÂÂï¸Â🦘🤣 Absolute Oath breakers ðŸ’â€Ã°Å¸Â¤Â®Ã°Å¸â€˜Â¿Ã°Å¸Â¤Â¬Ã°Å¸ËœÂ¡Ã°Å¸â€˜Â¿
Want to make any situation worse? Just call or let the police show up.
at the end of the day, SHE K1ll3D herself. She just decided to SIT IN fkin road and WAIT. SHE unalived herself. 😂
These guys are horrible human beings. They absolutely contributed to her death.
Serve n protect they failed to do their duty they knew she was intoxicated they coulda took her to the drunk tank n let her go
Unfortunately, the SCOTUS has ruled that police have no duty to protect or provide police services to specific individuals Warren v. District of Columbia (444 A.2d. 1, D.C. Ct. of Ap. 1981), and this is what we, the People, are up against.
This officer will be looking back to this and have an epiphany that what she's telling him was that she was trying to get away and, that's why she couldn't give him a location or destination. Her destination was "away." Whether she was drunk or not, she clearly needed help, and the "help" was deaf to the request.
These are pathetic excuses for men, even more pathetic as officers
Law enforcement is a clear and present danger to public safety.
Cops want it both ways.
Literal human garbage. Should not have any job in emergency response or any kind or any job that deals intimately with other people's safety. Absolutely disgusting.
In my opinion, both officers should be fired, charged with voluntary manslaughter, and sent to prison for life without release…
Absolutely dereliction of duty…drunk in public??
I did notice that they never once asked her if there was someone that they could call for her. (family or friend)
ðŸ¤â€Ã°Å¸Â¤â€Ã°Å¸Â¤â€ Imagine, this is how they treat their women. But have racists things to say about black men ðŸ˜Â😠Barbaric
This is what normal police work looks like. Police have open distain for the public and don’t care at all about the community or people in general. community care taking doctrine is only used to get around constitutional barriers to actions that require a warrant. Look at the private lives of law enforcement. Why are police for instance the number one job for domestic abusers? Beating up your wife, that’s what good men do? Why do so many cops have criminal records? Oh but don’t worry, they get special privlages to remove those things from their records in way unavailable to the public. The institution of policing is rotten on the inside. But we’re not supposed to talk about that. So the problem continues to get worse. The truth of this video is it’s par for the course. Police look down on the public, when you genuinely need help; they could care less.
"We don't give rides to poor people or women unless they're really young, hot, and willing"
Serve snd protect my a$$ cops as a whole are demon processed. Re: Sonya Massey
I'm so sorry I can't go back in time and save you Michelle
