  1. It's not against the law to avoid the checkpoint. Police agencies need to give people a chance to turn away before approaching the checkpoint. As long as you make a legal turn and use your turning signals correctly than there's no need for the police to chase you down. Police go after people if they break a traffic law while driving away from the checkpoint.

  2. its about the money ! not getting drunks off the road! how much is a speeding ticket ?

in the hundreds ? why so much for speeding ? look how much a dui brings in !! MONEY MONEY MONEY !!!! its a rich mans world !

  3. ONUS, almost to the point of not being enraged anymore. folks will gripe about voting, but in this case it works. they tried this crap in Michigan, and I doubt it will EVER come up again because we said f-no. if this is what folks truly want in California, then this a non event anymore. hey California, hand your papers over with a smile and a butt-plug, you deserve it.
