7. Man…I feel like this whole trial has messed things up for Melly to get a fair trial. If they do a mistrial, which I think could very well happen. The reason I say this is were in day 4. If we went through an entire 20 some odd day trial, it would just get appealed bc of what happened here. Either way, if there's a new trial period, everyone is watching this and has seen those text messages between the ex gf's mom and Melly. It's gonna be hard for Melly to get a fair trial now if they do a mistrial or a appeal with a new trial. I think they should just keep moving forward, bc at least this jury hasn't seen those text messages. IMO

10. In my opinion, the prosecution is not linking melly directly to the murders. They should have tried both defendants together. If I was a juror I would need more from the prosecution especially for a death penalty case. The prosecution said the evidence will prove that melly did it, but it’s shown either of them could have done it. Maybe he and the driver switched seats on the way. The driver has residue on his hands. They should have tried them both together. Yes melly had something to do with the crime, but who was the actual shooter? Also, I don’t see premeditated crimes they should have gone another route.

20. Really tough trial here. The state has no factual evidence that melly pulled the trigger but they don’t necessarily need it. They just need that jury to buy whatever story they’re selling. Mellys story has changed multiple times which isn’t a good thing. Also the state seeking the death penalty makes for a harder conviction. The jury may not want to be responsible for a man’s death. I think it would’ve been an easier conviction if they’d just gone for life in prison. If melly didn’t murder them I hope he is set free. If he did then he deserves everything coming to him. To kill your friends takes someone very evil and does not need to be in the public. No matter what his fans think
