I’m not saying they behaved correctly but this is one of the first times I really think the cop has a major ego problem and behaved horribly! He should be let go.
I'm very pro-LEO but I think this officer was wrong to dismiss their complaint because he didn't know how thoroughly a phone can be hacked. I wish he'd suggested they check YouTube for info on how to get rid of a hacker, or that she do a factory reset on the phone. He was also pretty quick to anger. I'd give him a B grade, tops.
That being said, there is nothing that justifies this couple jumping on him and acting like it's his fault her phone got hacked. And when an officer of the law says do this or I'll arrest you, arrest (stop) yourself and walk away. They both get an F from me.
I think maybe this isn't going to be resolved until someone is in the hospital. I hope I'm wrong.
