So one officer decided to shoot non-lethal before telling others, and others thought the suspect was shootnig at them so they killed him.

Officers gave him so many chances and were imo too willing to let him make demands. I get they were trying to take him alive but it is interesting on how different situations will be depending on local LEO.

Unfortunately, due to bodycam channels like this, the perps now know all the tricks and strategies the cops used in standoffs, and can't be controlled and manipulated as easy. They know the cops are trained to be deceptive when trying to talk them down.

Great work by officers. Having no cover and knowing beforehand suspect has zero issues with harming LEO’s, along with such a long stand-off… kudos. One less menace to society who should have not been out among the free in the first place. Condolences to suspects family and all officers who had to fire. As some have mentioned, the judge who allowed for bail.. needs to be removed from the legal system. Watching these bodycam videos through various channels.. seems like less than 1% should be out roaming free. Sorry!!
If Im a judge and see a rap sheet of escalating violence, set free on bond… No, Ill bankrupt a town/city asking for everything before I’d even consider bail much less a release.

I give police officers in Wisconsin a lot of credit as they lay it on the line to protect us from crazed felons only to see the courts repeatedly just give bail and extend their probations. The courts in Wisconsin in particular fail to protect victims of domestic violence. Court ordered protection orders are routinely ignored. And more probation when they are ignored! Free to do whatever they want until there is a death.
