  1. I was friends with Wendy back around then. She was my neighbour and 4 months younger than me so same grade and all. She used to live in Richmond Hill, just north of Toronto when I knew her and before she moved. I remember seeing her missing posters around town and every so often I keep coming online to see if they found her… to no avail. YET!!! It saddens me the sick fucking world we live in and I am strict on my daughters because of it. I pray there is closure in the best way possible for her and her family. (Fox Run Neighbour/childhood friend )

  2. 14 yrs old. SNEAKS out her Window? Really. Another Never told 'NO' Gal knocked up at 14. Family Votes YES on Abortion

  3. HOW many times do we need to hear a tragic story that starts with an incompetent/lazy police officer saying a missing person is simply a “runaway “???

  4. I will never forget this story from our old town. We went to the same middle school. How devastating…truly woke us up about safety awareness

  5. Poor foolish little girl, who thought (like so many others) that she knew better than her parents and that they just wanted to spoil her fun. They just won’t listen, when as we want to do is keep them safe. Depraved men like these prey on young naive girls like Wendy, and by the time they realise that they are in danger it is too late.

  6. I had s3x with a freshman in college at 15 years old and I’m so glad I blocked him after, I didn’t realize how creepy the age gap is until recently

  7. How would spending the night with a sex offender even be a cover story? He’s a sex offender… clearly the girl coulda been with them as well to begin with.

  8. Yeah even a 18 yr old man shouldn’t be hanging out with a 14 Yr old but he was actually 20 years old! Even worse! Yuck. Sick ! Disgusting! I feel so bad for Wendy and her Famliy. She is probably dead by now. Hate to say it but if she was alive I’m sure she would of been reunited with her Famliy by now .

  9. When I was 16, I had a group of friends and one of our friends had a younger brother (14 years old). Us 16-year-old were so embarrassed to be hanging out with the 14-year-olds. Even with just the two-year gap, there was such a noticeable difference in our experiences and mentality. I can not ever understand or justify a 20-year-old person being attracted to someone barely entering high school. It's twisted.

  10. I honestly don't agree with the idea that this was caused by the parents being over strict. Even if a parent lets their child go out at night. What is the assurance they told the truth on who they'll be with? What is the assurance that no dangerous person will appear?
