11. These attorneys do not inspire confidence in the way they speak. They're rushed, stuttering, hesitating and pausing way too much, even despite all the months/years they had to prepare. I understand trials are very nerve-wracking, but they should seriously take their time to get their point across, or they risk the judge overlooking their argument because their speech or argument or point was delivered insufficiently.

33. The best chance for an acquittal going into closing arguments probably goes to Newsome. His lawyer at least has a somewhat tangible argument about the lack of physical corroborating evidence, and about Robert Allen's lack of credibility as a witness. His odds are still microscopic though.
