  1. mistrial?????? this guy asking for a mistrial because somebody texted a juror? LIKE BRUHHHHHHHHHH, hahahahahahhaha Please stop defending EVIL!

  2. I've been watching this trial forever and ever I have never even seen one face from a jury person ever, so I don't know how in the world YouTube got a hold of a video of one of the members being recognized? it's just hard to believe that he even got a glimpse , it had to have been somebody in the court that video taped something there is no other way that somebody could get a hold of a face of a juror!! investigation judge is amazing I really like him a lot he really thinks things through and makes great decisions

  3. My guess, Ole Tone admitted himself into drug rehab in order to avoid testifying in this case. 🤔🤔🤔

  4. I totally understand why it's necessary and important for defense attorneys to give it all they have even when the case is cut and dry. For one, everyone must be considered innocent until proven guilty (a growing problem especially among average citizens which are the jury pool being picked from) and secondly, it's important that a sentence not being overturned due to inadequate representation. All that said, so many of the defense's questions seem to help verify the prosecutor and this confuses me because he doesn't strike me as a third rate lawyer? 🤔

  5. I'm a little shocked that we're not getting a boatload of asked and answered objections from the state during cross. It'd speed this up considerably.

  6. Trying to excuse her horrific actions because she chose to take illegal drugs really?? No way no person in their right mind could use that as an excuse..and no bipolar is not brain damage

  7. Poor guy, (Shad Thyrion) may God forgive him his sins and confort him in his everlasting love. I pray for his soul, this man did not deserve what was comming for him.
12.50 I have a feeling this poor lady got demolished by this case (I saw she quit lawenforcement) and for her I'm also burning a candle tonight. This is a sad sad story.

  8. Terrible closing argument by the first State's attorney.."kay," "alright," "right?" Defense's case is that she is not guilty by reason of mental defect. He didn't even address that about the fact that she remembered most of the events, she cleaned up, as well as intending to kill. He just assumed slam dunk because she did it. Thankfully the second State's attorney was clear on intent and her mental clarity. Good thing that the defense didn't do a good job bringing up the fact that she was temporarily insane. Defense also didn't do a good job if he was trying to show that she was insane or had mental defect at the time of the crime…no psychological exams or mental health professional witnesses during the trial was a mistake. Not sure why he only wanted to bring in a mental professional during the sentencing phase only. She has a good case for retrial or appeal if she wants to spend time in the mental institution vs. prison.

  9. Super curious about what her lawyer and the court officer were talking about starting at 9:25:16 … He gave her a little pat and she MIGHT have an upset look on her face ?!

  10. It seems to me the defence attorney is asking the witnesses questions he already knows the answer to because it’s in a photo or a document that all parties have a copy of? Am I the only one who is noticing this?

  11. Quickest trial ever and very enjoyable, I found all parties professional and respectful, the judge impartial and the defendant and her crime fascinating. Looking forward to watching the second phase.

  12. I thought this happened just last year? So I’m wondering why they’re recording with microphones from 1942?? You would think with such an unbelievably important questioning you might be able to upgrade the radio shack mic…

  14. I have watched a lot of murder trials and this courtroom by far is the most respectful that I have seen. It is a pleasure to watch the Judicial process play out the way is was meant to be. Great job to the Judge and both attorney's.

  15. Everytime I use a bread knife I’m going to think about how someone’s head was cut off with one 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
