6. I can understand why someone with Paltrow’s wealth would be wary that people would take advantage of her. That said, it’s clear she ran into the guy. Acting like nothing happened, refusing to even acknowledge what she did, and then LYING out of spite (and likely an entitlement complex) is just wrong. I would have hoped that someone who has been as blessed as she has in this world, would want to help the person they’ve unintentionally hurt.

7. It's funny how reading through these comments every single one mentions, lawyers conduct, boring, insensitive towards Terry. See, this is the problem with jurors already making decisions based on an opening statement and judging Gwyneth on her past behaviors and her conduct of how she was portrayed by the plaintiffs lawyer. Now, everything changes after hearing Terry and his credibility, his deposition, witnesses factoring all of past injuries prior to his ski accident. Listen, I love Taylor Swift too and no way will she ever conduct that way to an injured person but doesn't mean that one day she may always be right because she's America's Sweetheart.

18. I am a law student and always thought i wouldn’t do well in litigation in the courtroom, but I hope i could do better this! And for the amount of money they are getting is insane. I have to believe that GP is regretting her choice in lawyer. I think his arrogance is off putting and he is not relatable.

23. I think Terry Sanderson may have blacked out or had a medical incident while skiing into Gwyneth Paltrow. This may explain the groaning. His interpretation of "being skied into" may be rooted from feeling fear during a medical incident or with having a collision or accident. People can be in the mindset of blame when feeling fear. The definition of recklessness in this case is thought provoking. When I hear the words "reckless skiing", I think speed and twisting back and forth, and cutting people off which is risky behaviour to self and others. That is not the case here. The plaintiff is saying that she was reckless due to looking off to the side behind her and then presumably banging into him as a result. Isn't it normal to have quick glances to the side or a little bit back when going slow and stopping? I would think that to be an instinctive response. Although, wearing all the ski gear may make that difficult to do. A skier would see what is in front of them. If Gwyneth Paltrow collided with him, his injuries would be to the back or side depending on the direction of the collision. Given the low speed, they were gliding together, how they fell is really the cause of any injury, and the impact would be low which leads me to think that given Terry Sanderson's age, his bones were fragile and prone to breaking. This happens when bone density is lost as we age. Gwyneth Paltrow had pain to the back and needed treatment, a massage. This is consistent with being skied into from behind. Her knee was also injured from the fall to the side due to do it being stretched. Which is also consistent with being in front and being pushed from behind during the fall. It also makes sense that Terry Sanderson's ribs would break when he fell into Gwyneth Paltrow's back. If he was in front, then it didn't take much force for his ribs to break when he fell onto his side and front (if that is what he claims, I did not listen to his description of the events so I do not know where the breaks were). What speed were they going? I would think speed would equate to the level of injuries.

    I have met people with brain injuries. It can change their personality. I think this is important for this case. I have witnessed anger, frustration, and odd behaviour from brain injury victims to the point where I did not feel safe or that I could trust being around the person. There would be moments of forgetfulness, and relentless pursuit of making a point, mood changes, extensive and unhealthy criticism, behaviour that made me uncomfortable to the point where I avoided one person in particular.
