3. Great jobs by the police!!! This is a scary crime. That’s actually a good neighborhood in queens NY. So it can happen anywhere. Always keep your eye on people that seem to just be hanging around. A cousin that visited from another state. A jobless individual that’s always walking around the neighborhood. Sometimes you should just sit by your front window and watch your neighbors. See who’s in the neighborhood and get to know routines. Finally, every now and then look out your window at odd hours like 2am or 4am….you never know what you might witness. 👍

25. When they named the suspect, his last name Venable, sounded familar to me. Then I remembered! Back in the early 90's in Britain a toddler was lured away by two 11 year olds, while he was out w/ his mom at a shopping center. The toddler was murdered, pretty gruesome stuff, & 1 of the boys who perpetrated it was named Jon Venables! It just struck me because when they said Venable in this report, for a second I found myself wondering if it was the same person, & realized just as quickly it wasn't. Still thought it was strange though considering both crimes & ages of the boys at the time. Now, I didn't read thru comments to see if anyone else may have mentioned this, so sorry if it was covered already.
