Pueblo, Colorado — On July 19, 2025, several community members called the Pueblo Police Department to report a group of motorcyclists driving recklessly on Pueblo’s south side. The Directed Investigation and Community Engagement (DICE) unit responded and located the group. Bodycam and dashcam footage shows the riders popping wheelies, standing on their bikes, and weaving between vehicles across multiple lanes. Officers say the trio’s antics brought traffic to a standstill on Northern Avenue, prompting a coordinated effort by the Directed Investigation and Community Engagement (DICE) unit to intervene. The arrest occurred at a red light where officers pulled one motorcyclist from his bike as the other two fled the scene.

Authorities are using the footage not just for prosecution, but as a warning amid a growing trend of deadly motorcycle crashes in Colorado. With 165 motorcyclist fatalities reported in 2024, a record high for the state, law enforcement is stepping up its response to high-risk riding. “These stunts aren’t just illegal, they’re a matter of life and death,” police said, noting that reckless riders risk losing not only their licenses and bikes, but potentially their lives. Officers reminded the public that motorcycles impounded for such behavior can be held for six months, with all associated fees falling on the rider.

  1. Yes the kid was doing stupid stuff and literally taunting the cops so he definitely needed to be tackled off that bike. But I do not believe the law should steal his bike. Nor was he putting anyone in danger at that slow speed. I think the officer overreacted. But yeah if I was officer I would had arrested him ticket him and one day in jail.

  2. These kids have "large ones"! In front of the cops, DUDE! Many moons ago while cruzin on my Harley & had a lovely bunch of nuts on crotch rockets come up beside me & do the same thing. I let the fools pass on by. Little boys, I've lost many old bike pals. Hope ya learned a lesson. I'm all for riding & fun, but there are places for this.

  3. You always hear motorcyclists saying “bike gang, bike gang”.
The two other guys see their friend in trouble, and they floored out of there 😂😂

I guess the gang is breaking up

  4. I remember when I was getting my driver's license my instructor was an ex-cop and he said that the accident rates for motorcycles are so high that it's not "if" you have an accident but "when" and "how bad", and doing stupid shit like this does NOT help those odds at all.

  5. Yeah that Mini bike was a real danger to society. Meanwhile, in Pueblo, you can crash your car high on heroin with 40 pounds of weed in the back next to two stolen guns and get less bitching done at you than this. These specific cops are absolute pussies. They picked the only one they thought they could catch and stalked him like a fucking jealous ex. Good job keeping the street safe. Pueblo is a fucking dirty mess. Go figure that shit out for you fuck with kids on mini bikes.

  6. Who exactly did this guy put in danger? Displace could be out doing real work catching actual criminals, but instead they're out here picking on kids practicing wheelies with nobody around.

  7. Dude pops a few little wheelies, harming absolutely no one, and catches charges for it, Bravo police man "endangering everybody" dude might wreck his bike, get bruised and scraped, and life goes on, kids can't do anything fun these days.

  8. According to AI, in Pueblo, CO, the average daily rate for impound fees are about $50. If they were to hold his bike for 6 months (180 days), that's about $9,000. If that is the case, then this guy is never going to get his bike back.
