1. I was a victim of something like this, minus the sexual abuse but I was physically abused by my police dad over the years and he tells me that he didn't give me ptsd, that I gave myself ptsd like what the fuck?

7. This happens ALL the time. People do come forward and they get brushed aside or ignored. Adults seem to justify not stepping or justify the predators behavior.
   I know because it happened to me. The man that molested me is still loose and has never been held accountable. He was that guy that people looked up to so it never went any where.

8. I know this is a selfish thought but I find it so odd how some peoples lives can end up better than mine and I didnt have this kind of terrible thing happen to me.

I think the sexual component makes people get fanatical because when it is just a typical non-sexual assault you don't see the same type of fanaticism, but in many instances the pain and physical bruising and such is much worse than a lot of the overly amorous sexually inappropriate touching is- but like in religions and 9/11 style crimes logic is viewed as heresy.

I got molested and it took me a day to tell my mom of course i had fears of how people would react or who would believe me but my mom always told me if things like this ever happened to always tell her and its beyond me that this dsughter didnt have the courage to tell her mother after all those years…………….. goes to show how much the mother paid attention …
