17. In cases like these, the children should go to the victim's family. Given they're deemed fit and want to care for the child. And then they can decide how much contact the other side of the family can have. A potential murderer having the baby doesn't cause concern?! I get he isn't convicted, yet, but if the person is charged, then take the kid(s) away until it's decided in court.
