44. I dated a wonderful young lady for about 5 years. After we broke up she told me tearfully how she was viciously raped years earlier. She didn't think anyone would love her if they knew. Shocking. Absolutely shocking to hear. I am a man and don't know the psychology but not loving her was the furthest thing from my mind when she told me. I wanted to hug and protect her. It just sounds strange that. "nobody would love me now". Of course they will.

45. Her father must be so proud and awestruck by his daughter. He was never going to release her and no-one was coming to the rescue. Only she was capable of getting away and saving herself and her parents from the trauma and pain of her murder, not to mention possible lives she saved. She's awesome
