Karen Widdoss should not be talking. She shouldn’t even be alive after what happened to her. But the brave young woman survived a brutally attack by a man who claimed to love her. Crime Watch Daily’s Kim Goldman has the incredible story of Widdoss’ will to live while she was a sliver away from death.

  1. Does anyone know if hes still locked up? Its been 27 years and I think she just got the law passed for the 3 years to wait for parole hearing. I would probably be so scared to even post anything and him go find her. So much social media is out now and you can find out any information. Like she said its not over that is scary. I wonder if maybe that helps keep him in though if every parole hearing she brings that he still writes and tries to contact her.

  2. How he wasn't charged with attempted murder I will never understand. Also how he's legally allowed to still contact her and they aren't extending his sentence for that I will never understand. I think it's a little ridiculous that the laws protect the criminals more than they do the victims. This is as bad as the one where the black dude raped his girlfriend or ex-girlfriend with a curling iron, they locked him up he damned your feeder to death he got bond. He went from the jail straight to her house. Killed her her mom her youngest daughter and he was on a GPS tether

  3. How in the HELL is someone like this given a chance to bail out of jail? SMH! She was right when she said the system failed her. They sure as hell did

  4. I hope she never gives this devil any of her time. Block any calls from prison, change the number, don’t answer emails or letters, block him from social media . Change your name on social media. Too many victims think I’ll tell him what I think, NO they want to take your time to give them time to decide their next step.

  5. How did he get 15-40 but is able to fight for parole every year? The 15 usually is the amount of time you have to serve before you are eligible for parole.

  6. This is the second story I've heard where the attacker wasn't charged with attempted murder. Are these judges qualified to do their job? Clearly they don't how to make right decisions. They are pieces of shit and think they, the judges, should have to carry out these sentences for being biased in this case supporting the murderer. He's still contacting her. You judges are the lowest piece of crap.

  7. That guy is a text book serial killer. When he gets parole he’s going to try to kill her and others like her. Guaranteed

  8. Take the law into ur own hands. Shame on our justice system. He deserves to burn In hell. Cops are useless and our justice system is a joke!! Maybe people who work in the court and law enforcement how would they feel if there daughter almost got murdered.

  9. GET A GUN. Put him out of his misery. Target practice every weekend & stop interfering with the parole hearing. Let Him Out ☆☆
    Let Him know !

  10. Satanic system. Attempted murder in the Bible would be carried out with the death penalty, just like murder accomplished. If people wanted God's laws, we wouldn't have the crime running rampant. It would be a heavenly World and upon Jesus Christ return, he comes back as a lion and not a lamb. He already paid the price. People have to decide if they want to commit and stand for His ways and have their sins washed away. How to contact the blood is in acts 2:38. All sin and fallen short. The penalty of sin is death. Christ is a propitiation for the sins of those who enter in. People repent for being a part of a Babylonian rule mind set for you and your forefathers. Christ still wants to save us from our own sin of not caring about Him (His Way). John 1:1

  11. Gosh. What an insult. You know that he looks forward to those parole hearings not with thoughts of freedom, but with sheer excitement at just glimpsing her face.
She shouldn't have to be there or risk seeing him at her front door. Brave girl.

  12. This angers me SO MUCH! HOW DARE THAT DA NOT GIVE HIM ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGES! AND HOW DARE THEY OFFER HIM ANY BAIL OR PAROLE HEARINGS WHEN HE CLEARLY VIOLATES EVERY SINGLE RULE!

  13. Seriously what kind of world is this where almost murdering a woman is okay? It’s basically The Purge out there. Are they seriously going to release him to terrify her again?

  14. @ Remy Darling….Police are trained not to care…not to get involved and specially not to believe the victims….90% of the time they leave that job to investigators so they can have something to do after victims are murder.

  15. It’s disgusting that peoples like this exist… this was the most intense video I’ve ever watched…

  16. It’s sad that our weak judicial system failed that lady! Our judicial system is a joke! It never used to be like that till bleeding crybaby liberals took over!

  17. You can find some guys deep in Dallas that will fuck him up for some $$$. He might be out of jail but he wont be able to walk. 😆

  18. The most common comments I see on Crime Watch videos are “she was gorgeous, she was so pretty, what a hottie, so sad such a beautiful woman died” like what y’all????

  19. This man should not be set free. If they do, put him a bracelet and live in a psychiatrist place. It's sick and evil.

  20. This pos should have been executed without a trial. How on earth he's still breathing and has the right to send annoying letters to Karen still bothering her after the horrifying attacks she'd been through? Actually, he did commit murder. But the victim was strong enough to survive! I just can't believe the justice system. The sentence was ridiculous, he has no right to appeal and they have to stop him from bothering her over and over again via mail or phone. Even if he stays in jail for 50 years, he'll come out and kill again. Who's to be blamed then?

  21. “It was like he thinks he’s above the law” sounds like a narcissist I’m sorry this happened to you 🙁

  22. He should have been charged with attempted murder. This is B.S. having to show up yearly to fight in a parole hearing. There should be something she can do. This is so wrong. 🥺
