35 thoughts on “Prosecutor Breaks Down Alex Murdaugh’s ‘Gathering Storm’ Leading Up to Family Murders

  1. If M was using that huge of an amount of drugs on the daily, wouldn’t he have shown some seriously severe withdrawals while in prison awaiting trial? (I’ve recently discovered this case, so I might have missed when his withdrawals was talked about…?) Excellent work by the prosecutor, btw!

  2. Well I got it wrong ..looks like his son Paul nailed him from beyond the grave with the kennel video..pretty sad case all-round..madness.

  3. In the closing arguments, defense played a video with Alex and the police the night of the murders. No one has mentioned that you can clearly hear the dog(s) barking in the background. This indicates that anyone that was on the property would alert the dogs to bark. Wonder why they did not bark when only Alex, the killer(s) and the family were there

  4. Great job prosecution and Alex is 100% GUILTY! Only a fool in the jury pool
    Would
Let him off – AM is a lawyer and knew how to LIE to the jury and look innocent . GUILTY.

  5. This demon actually murdered his wife and son in a warped plot to deflect and distract the heat he was facing for all his other crimes. A sick, demented sociopath.

  6. I can’t see a way out of this . Just like Alex couldn’t see anyway to get out of this, other than murder .

  7. Basically all laid out, it’s a. Obvious scenario. I like the chances of prosecution. Jury can’t let this murderer off.

  8. Here, there is only one judge.
Do not set yourself up as a judge, so as not to be judged; because it is
as you judge, you will be judged" (Mt 7:1-2).

  9. This prosecutor is good, he did alot of homework for this case and it shows. He paints a clear picture for every scenario and hits the nail on the head on every description.

  10. 1,000 milligrams per day??? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂What a joke! He would have been dead or comatose years ago.

  11. My Theory from the very beginning is that Alec hired someone to murder his wife and son because they knew something and they needed to be hushed about it.
Ive watched that new Podcast on Youtube about Murdaugh Murders.
I can almost agree with alot that was said but I say almost.
Alec knows that he didnt actually partake in the Murders but his Hitman was possibly paid a huge chunk of Money to carry out the duty.

  12. I really really didn’t want to think that he killed his own son like that but after the cell phone video came out placing him there at the time of the killings and he said he wasn’t there…. Well unfortunately that was the ultimate nail in the coffin… if he was innocent he wouldn’t need to lie about that

  13. Probably gonna be a hung jury..where is the blood spatter? I mean if you blow someone's head off at close range you are gonna have blood spatter all over you aren't you? Surely they should have found something on him,on his body or in his hair🤔..then you have the guns…just where are they?Shouldn't that be the priority ? Finding the murder weapons?

  14. people really thinks alex murdaugh is not guilty, i can't believe what ive been reading lately. people are this slow nowadays, omg😳

  15. Plenty is correct.. but 1K mg. a day, is EASILY doable, NOT “unsurvivable”. He takes 80mg pills.—

  16. —In my addiction I would take 10 of those a day sometimes, and if I had that much money to play with, I’d easily take more—

  17. —(tolerance at that level makes it hard to ever O.D). So 1k mg./daily is EASILY plausible. What’s not.. his timeline and the way his Wife&Son were murdered !

  18. “He understands the law”. As the prosecutor states…. Yet he makes a choice to take the stand?!! Lol. A great fool
