I was in an abusive relationship as a teen, lived with his family who always stood by & did nothing to intervene. I stayed for years because the beatings I got from him weren’t as bad as the ones I got from my parents. Thankfully my grandma drove across 2 states to get me & took me back with her & got my ass in college. I don’t know where I’d be today if she hadn’t rescued me. I’ll be forever grateful ❤😊
