In this episode of Crime Watch Daily Updates: Tara Lambert had it all on the outside, but she held a vendetta against her former friend and her husband’s ex-wife, Kellie Cook. Tara told her friend Ginny to make a threatening call to Kellie, and a few months later, Tara asked Ginny if she knew a hitman to hire to kill Kellie. GInny’s conscience told her to reach out to law enforcement.

Ginny connected Tara with a hitman, who was actually an undercover detective. Tara told the suspected assassin to put Kellie “in a chopper, like, one of those lumberjack chopper things.”

In July 2015, Tara paid the fake hitman $125 as a down payment to kill Kellie, but little did Tara know that the undercover detective recorded their conversation.

Tara was convicted in January 2016 of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder and sentenced to 7 years. In 2017, an appeals court overturned her conviction because the indictment never indicated what she actually committed as part of the conspiracy. But the next year, in a new indictment, she pleaded guilty to the same charge and was sentenced to five years in prison with time served.

Now, let’s take a look back at the case of a former aspiring model whose decisions impacted her life and those around her in a flash.

  1. Thank u for all your hard work making these videos!!!! 😅 Especially all the analogies you make… Like flys to shit …yes I love this😂…. Plus very informative 😊

  2. This is the second case I heard a women plotting to murder her husband I love when she was saw him and realized he was alive , the pretend hit man was also a cop , she got arrested and was found guilty but her lawyer got her off cause the case was publicized and the jury was biased cause of all the information plastered all over t.v
I was so angry that someone who Is capable of doing this could get off, not sure if anything ever happened to her in the end

  3. This video is making me uncomfortable. I don't want to be this close to the narrator's face. Next time less time sooo close to her face.

  4. Wow, she is such an evil bi£ch. This is what happens when parents spoil their kids instead of teaching them moral integrity and kindness. She is used to just using and discarding people her whole life and is such a cheapskate to think $125 is a price that someone could spend their life in jail for. What a POS. Justice is never fair as I am sure if she were a POC she would have been sentenced to 25yrs. One law for the rich and another for the poor and POC. So unfair.

  5. So 5 years she can sit there with nothing to do but figure out another way to accomplish it this time when she gets out 🤦‍♀️

  6. I wonder what made Jenny record the conversations from day one. Back to when Tara only asked Jenny to call the lady and threaten her which she did so it's crazy she recorded their conversations in the beginning.

  7. 5 years ? Really , the American justice system is crazy with the sentencing. People gets decades and sometimes life for minor offenses and she gets just 5 years

  8. She might be a pretty one but she's clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed! Did she really believe that someone would take 125$ as a down payment to kill somebody!?!? What a fucking idiot! The fact that she didn't suspect it to be a set up just shows that beauty is all she has because brains she clearly doesn't.

  9. This story always catches me off guard because my mother's family is from there. I've grown up seeing a lot of time in Circleville and we'll go to the Pumpkin Show annually. But some arteries and I didn't hear about this story until probably 3-4 years ago.
