Judge Christopher Sabella snapped after prosecutors and defense attorneys wouldn’t stop arguing while a key witness was testifying in the ice cream man’s murder trial. “Sniping each other and talking over each other, which is just going to end,” Judge Sabella said. “If it continues, I’ll simply declare a mistrial.”

  1. I love this judge. I legit just look up clips of him whenever I feel upset about the justice system. No nonsense. Fair. To the point.

  2. Yall if he so good then put him over reparations case for Negro people who are NOT the minority 😂anymore………but guess who is the minority……..😅😅the oppressors!!!!!!!😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

  3. I've watched 3 of his trials and/or sentencing. He is a wonderful judge- respectful and empathetic towards the victims

  4. He has got a point the “refreshing of recollection”, can get in the weeds because they can say yes and then it opens the door for the lawyer to bring up past testimony and almost always impeach them.

  5. Needing to put everyone on the straight and narrow in court shouldn’t even happen with licensed lawyers. A court is not a courtyard.

  6. I'm only a high school graduate and army veteran, don't consider myself very smart at all but this just articulated everything so well it actually made me feel smart that I understood such a smart man. I loved this video.

  7. After 25 years practicing law in Massachusetts, I’ve seen a wide spectrum of judges. This judge consistently exemplifies all of the best qualities we hope to see in our jurists, particularly in terms of skill and temperament.

  8. He's got a meeting at twelve. I want to crack a joke but I like this guy. 😂😂😂

  9. This judge is another phenomenal judge, we've seen about 6 big cases with some phenomenal judges. Let's hope the judge in the Vallow Daybell case changes his mind over no cameras in court.

  10. This judge knows his stuff – and knows how to handle a courtroom. I've seen him many times and have always been impressed by his 'no nonsense' approach, whilst still not making the focal point about him. A well educated and professional judge. 👍👍

  11. Too bad the right wing side of Congress can’t be treated the same way, we wouldn’t have Marjorie Greene.

  12. I think defense attorney is 100% right.

To refresh a memory with written words and not audio, I don’t think it’s fair. I don’t know what’s written. What if page 10 says “I’m a murderer!”?

  13. These folks need to stop having cocktails for breakfast…. just seems like a few drunks arguing in a bar.

  14. sounds like the defence is splitting hairs He’s Guilty and shouldn’t see the light of day!

  15. Excellent articulation from a Judge who knows how to control his courtroom and not permit chaos to ensue by shenanigans of arguing semantics.

  16. This judge sounds just like Patton Oswalt, the actor. If I close my eyes that's who I hear. Lol. No disrespect at all. I LOVE Patton ❤️🤗

  17. This judge was surely a an elementary school teacher before law school. He’s one shenanigan away from enforcing rubbish duty at lunch.
