Florida man Timothy Ferriter is accused of locking up his adopted son inside of a room he had built in the family’s garage. Ferriter faces charges of aggravated child abuse, false imprisonment and neglect of a child. Court records out of Jupiter, Florida show that the door to the room had a deadbolt on the outside, along with multiple other locks. Investigators also found video from a ceiling camera that showed Ferriter allegedly punching, throwing, and beating the son multiple times. When Ferriter’s son wasn’t in school, he allegedly was locked in the room — only allowed out to eat or sometimes use the restroom.

  1. Wow. He's hard after defence. Should've allowedd it the first minute, they need to have opportunity to show their relationship

  2. I was watching this trial to see a whole trial. After the opening statement, I don’t know if I can’t make it through. I don’t understand why someone would do this. 😔

  3. This ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS these people should do serious time 5 yrs isn't enough they had money his lawyers constantly made sure they mentioned that over 20 times. To keep adopting children with needs or not they obviously knew the issues each child had before they got full custody. This kid had no chance. Since when is it ok to put a child in a box in a garage like you just purchased a puppy an claim it to be a quote on quote Bedroom we know it had no facilities no windows. Why is the ?. I Dont care if the kid tried to blow up his house theres No Reason for this. They could of called CPS An had them help with therapy. They chose to Torture this Child They claim they went to this Dr and so on But they kept getting the Run around. I Don't Believe anything his Lawyers said. They saw him as a cash cow an took this case. As far as his attorney's Testimony it's obvious she kept Rambling how he wasn't a criminal. Im curious if they would do this to there own children She needs to go back to Law school and actually read the laws Books. We all know that laws need changing everday, our Justice system is 1000% Broken and until we correct it this is the outcome. The system let this kid down and many others everday. The Ferriters Belong in jail for along time. This Blows my mind the way he sits there with that SMUG FACE LIKE HE DIDN'T DO WRONG. Another thing when the boy took the stand and actually said that they just made the wrong choices. If this kid was so deceitful and evil as the defense Attorney's Claimed you would of heard him say awful things about them. I gathered this kid has forgave them and in most cases he would've Thrown them under the bus the moment he took the stand that was his time to Be Heard. He DIDN'T. There's ABSOLUTELY NO Responsibility For there Actions. They will always play the Victim the rest of Natural Born life. Shame on there Attorney's and these Ferriters. We Need more Judge's like him. Peace an love to those children and there Future.

  4. Ill bet he moved to Florida under the impression that if he got cought they wouldn't go after him. Because of all the headlines in the news of DeSantis going after schools. He was wrong

  5. Isn't this case not also putting Florida itself at risk of prosecution?
The juvenile prison system is exactly the same! Except for the bucket that is…

  6. While listening to his daughter tell about the physical violence he committed onto his son, he looks like he is just overlooking a regular conversation. Like he’s in a standard meeting at work.but it was just a bit of ‘bad parenting’ cause you struggled in the role of a parent to a difficult child, right?

  7. 3:05:09 "first of all this is the first time to go into the house is the best evidence of what that house looked like before anyone before any law enforcement touched anything"
lol did the defense just implied that the police touching something would change the layout of the house!? If they want to show the layout of the house just show a map. The defense will just prejudice the jury by showing the evil gun blazing full gear police raiding his house.

  8. That's probaly what caused his bad behavior. He was probaly locked in his room as a very small child for long periods of time. That's why he was acting out.

  9. I'm not condoning, but most foster homes have locked doors, fridges, cabinets, bathrooms, and cameras. We should be expecting more from them too but the system is immune. 🙁

  10. The female attorney at the start needs to work on the way she talks. Saying "Riiiight" to a judge and in a court of law, is so off putting. She sounds like a valley girl and that isn't doing her any favours or her clients.
