The Philadelphia Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 74-year-old Barry Spindler, who was reported missing from the Northeast section of the city. Investigators state that Spindler was last seen at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026. He was observed in the rear alley of his residence, located on the 2000 block of McKinley Street.
Spindler is described as a white male, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a green long-sleeved shirt, denim jeans, and black sneakers.
Authorities are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone who may have seen Spindler or who has information regarding his current whereabouts to contact the Northeast Detective Division at 215-686-3153. Information can also be provided by dialing 911.
