Two years ago, Darius Lester, a young black man in rural West Virginia, was shot by a West Virginia State Police SWAT team while still in his bed during a botched pre-dawn raid while executing a search warrant at his uncle’s home. Despite the passage of two years, the state police still have not released the findings of their investigation into the shooting. The reason? They were most likely waiting the two years the victim had in which to sue them.

I remember this video from sometime ago ,its criminal nothing has been done to bring this crooked police department to be held accountable.

Government is NOT incompetent. PEOPLE are. Our society has, since 9/11, made police a fetish. EVERY news conference BEGINS with thanks and praise for first responders rather than news. We don't question what WE have created – a police force that thinks it's paramilitary and has a mission to preserve itself and subdue US citizens.

Why do you mention his race ? Are you implying it was racially motivated ? As an attorney, you should know better than to use those types of inflammatory words without proof. Would you mention his color if he had been a white male ? Of course, you wouldn't. I've seen more videos of white people being mistreated by cops than anybody else and no one ever mentions their race, including you ! What is the reason why the police wanted his uncle's hard drive? If it was for child pornography, then that would justify a swat team in the middle of the night. I feel sympathy for the young man getting shot, and he should be compensated, but that could have happened to anyone in that situation, not just a black man. I just unsubscribe from your channel because there is no excuse for this type of irresponsible behavior.
And for those who think we need no cops, ask those states/cities that defunded them, like poo 💩hole California etc…toilets of the usa. I agree the system is corrupt, but they are a necessary evil. Without police if the government wants to send in the military/ martial law, guess what? You're gonna wish you had police. Martial law and your rights pretty much go out the window. From what I've read most politicians/lawyers/judges agree your rights, yes your constitutional rights are in layman's terms watered down.

The police in Campbelltown, Scotland is out of control. they arrest anyone and can beat up prisoners and get away with it but you cant say anything to the local court judge, there's more chance getting jail time. Its a really deprived area of Scotland, an old military air base, an old naval base owned by the Americans, went down hill when they left, now its an awful place to live.
My heart goes out to him and now I know what state not to move to. 😮

So since the bullets apparently went through him and into the couch, people shouldve figured out that he couldnt have charged them with those kinds of trajectories unless he was also doing the limbo while charging.
Sleeping with intent, a very serious crime in West Virginia, nearly as heinous as walking while black.
