40 thoughts on “‘Bring a Coroner’: Armed Suspect Shot After Intense Standoff with Utah Cops

  1. The stupidity of some people during tense situations really just blows my mind. The mother just standing in the doorway hyperventilating while she’s putting three officers and herself in danger just makes me 🤯 lol

  2. His Mother refused to leave in the beginning because she wanted to protect him and avoid her son to be shot by the Cops . I imagine how painful must have been for her. Mental health is a big issue in Utah people should find ways to get the help they need before is too late.

  3. As a father, I could NEVER understand the turmoil the mother must have gone through. That is why mothers are nurturing and more empathetic. It might sound harsh, but unless my son had a mental disorder and/or disability, I would tell him to stop acting like fool. If it was my daughter, I would be more compassionate. In the end, no parent wants to see something like this with their child.

  4. That is sad… I feel so sorry for his family…, and the officers – they didn't want that outcome. 😢💔

  5. Shame that mental health institutions/treatment funding has been cut over the years. Now they act out, get arrested, placed in jail with no help and released back out on the streets.

  6. This is terribly sad. Where is the legislation that prohibits any individual with Mental Health issues possessing firearm(s) ? It is clear the vetting process for obtaining a weapon is sorely bereft of the standard required, & should be Federal, not determined by individual States on an ad hoc basis… without determining such, this will continue; single-handedly, the US have a major problem on their hands, & inevitably more shall die. I had two sabbatical work tours in the US a few years ago – thankfully, without incident. That reports of gun violence is now a daily occurrence in many States, is more than alarming, & as such, it is unlikely that either myself or my son would return to visit your country – It has become as the Gaza Strip – or indeed any other war-torn province, punctuated by catastrophic loss of life; a great shame, because it is a beautiful country. Seventy-seven million firearms (& rising) – the statistical mathematics for that number demonstrates an all too lethal environment.

  7. That poor mum 😢 and Steven. Mental health is to be taken seriously people 😢 💔🙏 xx

  8. geeeez… what a steamin pile of C**P ! Parents , wake up …when you see the cool , and sooo unique (RED FLAG ) tattoos and goofy s**t on top of your kids head …get away and warn others . !

  9. When you have a mentally unstable son it's always a good idea to have guns in the house, horrible parenting they probably bought the rifle for their mentally unstable son I wouldn't doubt it.

  10. He's a disgusting person. Just ruined his parents lives, and forced someone who didn't want to hurt him to have to.

NO sympathy for him. All the sympathy in the world for his parents and the officers who tried to help.

  11. I don't understand the law enforcement mentality. The guy threatens to kill himself and the only thing the police tell him is "We don't want to hurt you."

  12. The system knows everything about mental illness we as family can’t take I’ll loved ones and get help the police 👮 👮🏿‍♂️ 👮‍♀️ end up killing them when it’s going to end with the madness

  13. Shoot the woman first, then take care of the rest of that completely dysfunctional family. Every person within range is in danger. Perhaps they could call animal control with the tranquilizer gun

  14. Terrible situation… I feel sorry for the mother and the heart break she will feel forever for the loss of her son. However, what ever problems Steve had…. have been solved permanently….

  15. Feeling emotionally distressed? Got severe PTSD? Having a mental breakdown and feeling suicidal?
Call the cops and they’ll help

    do the job for you.

NO COPS IN MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS

  16. What about dart tranquilisers? Something to bring down a horse maybe. Seems he didn't want to hurt anyone, he had plenty of chances to shoot.
