Seventeen-year-old Willard Miller appeared in court ahead of his murder trial to take a plea Tuesday. The teen, who was charged as an adult, pleaded guilty to beating Spanish teacher Nohema Graber to death with a baseball bat in November 2021 over a bad grade in her class.

His family had a summer vacation planned. Because of the low mark he would have to attend summer school. He searched on the internet whether he would still get a failing grade if the teacher died. He killed her so he could go on vacation, he thought.
