Last week, Alex Murdaugh testified he received permission to install emergency blue lights on his vehicle from then-Hampton County sheriff Thomas Smalls. The former law enforcement leader testified that Murdaugh’s testimony was the first time he heard of the alleged conversation between them, stating it never happened.

  1. Murdaugh lies so much he can't even help himself (not that he'd want to). He lied about something that he knew the prosecution could (and did) immediately disprove by simply summoning the sheriff. Unbelievable.

  2. I mean from a legality standpoint, a sheriff wouldn’t even have the authority to allow anyone other than officers to use blue police lights in the car lol

  3. I don’t think even Alex’s attorneys knew he lied about the blue lights when he testified about the Sheriff giving him permission. I think Alex was trying to tell his attorney different names right before his attorney went to cross examine. I think attorney stopped when he found out that the guy he said installed wasn’t right either.

  4. With all these impersonators on YouTube, imagine it’s very common to have blue lights on cars? Doesn’t seem to be any penalty for this ? My country it’s serious thing.

  5. I believe this monster would have killed again, could have gone on to be a serial killer if he thought it would have eliminated anyone threatening his freedom or privilege.

  6. My utmost respect to the sheriff. I hope he enjoys a long, restful retirement. It's a shame he had to testify to prove Alex is a liar once again.
