I bought a cheap LS Based Monte Carlo SS with a V8 from my local auction really cheap (it was marked “AS-IS). It ran good until I sabotaged it, and offered the challenge for my assistant Sage to win it, totally free if he can figure out what is wrong with it. He only has 1 hour to do so, and if he can’t, I’ll be giving it away to someone in the audience!

  1. For those who asked: The car was sold "AS-IS" all in with fees it cost $2,900. It is mechanically really solid and was serviced pretty well by it's one owner. It obviously is not in the best cosmetic condition, but I believe with paint, the interior blend door fixes, and a mechanical tune-up we can make this car really nice for about another $1,000 (the parts are really cheap and plentiful). The engine is pretty mod-able, its the FWD that hinders its performance most. Let me know what you think of the deal!

  2. Rich is going to be rebuilding his house after it burns down because his smoke detector is unplugged 😮😮😮😮😮 19:00

  3. Should’ve paid for Chris Fix!!??? 💀💀💀😂😂😂

  4. I don’t know how you can work with this guy he’s supposed to be mechanically inclined can’t find a fuse box it’s either under the driver side in the door jam on the driver side or passenger side or just under the hood

  5. No battery. No spark. No fuel. No air. Well, Sam, you did a pretty good job of messing up that car. TBH, the moment you mentioned breath, I would have taken the air filter off and had a look at the throttle body. Fair is fair.

  6. I hear those blend door actuators clicking!! My fiance used to have an impala of the same generation and they had the same problem, used crappy plastic gears that shredded themselves. Had to replace 2/3 of them.
