  1. After this arrest was made, I spoke with an LAPD officer "off the record'.  He told me that in this dangerous neighborhood cops cant let people disrespect them.  He said it creates a dangerous situation for all police officers because it emboldens residents to defy orders and possibly get violent.

  2. First time I was introduced to the phrase "contempt of cop" was in the early 80's through a book by ex-LAPD officer Joseph Wambaugh. I believe the book was "The Onion Field".

  3. Another victim less crime arrest. Well, they have to fill the PRIVATE prisons somehow because the city doesn't want to pay the difference between the jail being 50 % full instead of the agreed contract of 98 % full. Sad. It is all about the money. Their greed will be your false arrest or victim less crime arrest. THERE HAS TO BE A VICTIM FOR THERE TO BE CRIME COMMITTED. The coward cops just arrest citizens to fill the private prisons PERIOD. Good job as always Katman.

  4. They must have a lot of empty beds at the jail? The jail is where he most likely will receive a citation and then released, surely they're not going to keep him over night. They're just riding dirty fucking with people.

  5. In our country in Kazakhstan, we have Constitution, I think similar like in US and there write that all people should respect another people. But we haven't punishment for contempt.
What punishment awaits this person, who was arrested?
