I am shocked that a country that claims land of the free, and its the best country in the world is so archaic that upon a felony conviction you cant vote, no Country in the entire world does that. So so pathetic that isnt a country worth living in. Its absolutely a dictatorship even dictators allow citizens to vote, north korea people can vote. And Americans think they live in the best country in the world, so deluded so delusional.
Amazing officer! He’s an example of how community policing is so valuable. If you know and are respected by the people in the neighborhood you patrol, you will be more likely to get cooperation
I find Eric's wife's statement that her mother was a police officer so she doesn't like guns to be very strange!!! You'd think it would be the other way around and she'd be proficient with firearms. No one in my family was in law enforcement but my grandfather taught me how to shoot a rifle and a shotgun when I was 5 years old, I didn't shoot a handgun until I was in middle school though. I grew up making bullets on his bullet press in the garage when they lived in the Poconos. I find it strange that other families don't teach their children gun safty and how to properly handle a weapon when they are children. If they did maybe we wouldn't have teens messing around with guns the way they do these days because they'd have respect for it and know that is not responsible.
It's a great example when the second officer shows up, it reveals how important it is to have a relationship with the community as an officer. Policing can be done right. I'm glad there's good cops out there. It's a shame that a few of them give the rest a bad rap. But good on these guys, they seem pretty tight, sounds like they're good guys.
Kudos to that cop for explaining to those victims and witnesses the necessity for information and the process and difficulty of prosecution. Most people are not familiar with how law and order (it's not just a TV show) works or the hurdles the People have to deal with to get conviction. Taking those few moments not only benefits those present but also those they will share this experience with as well as anyone watching this video.
