As a Gen X Nana I only have to tell my grandkids to SIT DOWN one time & they sit their butts right down. Then I buckle them in to their car seats or booster seats & off we go. I never have an issue. They know Nana means business & they respect me for that. Iâve explained how dangerous it can be & that I will not put up with shenanigans in the vehicle while Iâm driving. If I ever make a threat of discipline, I always follow thru with said discipline. Thatâs how kids learn. If you just make threats & never actually follow thru they see right thru you & will never respect you. Imagine the adults she will be releasing into society to deal with simply by watching her parenting style now. All her kids will likely be menaces to societyâŚ..đ¤Śââď¸ Sheâs likely a direct result of the same parenting style: NONE.
