Endangered Missing Person Josephine Fichera from the 3rd District

The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 88-year-old Josephine Fichera, who has been reported as an endangered missing person. Ms. Fichera is 4’11” tall and weighing approximately 90 lbs. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and black tights with a floral pattern, carrying a tan purse and wearing sneakers. She has been a patient at a local hospital for the past month and lives with cognitive impairment, which places her at increased risk.

Prior to leaving the facility, Ms. Fichera changed into her personal clothing. She was observed exiting the rear of the hospital on April 22, 2026, at approximately 3:50 PM; she may be attempting to travel to her former residence on the 15xx block of South Carlisle Street.
