This police officer’s ego just cost the taxpayers of his county $80,000. He saw a man videoing him from a distance… and he just couldn’t deal with it. That man was actually also a police officer and had a reason to video this deputy. But because of his ego, or perhaps ignorance, the deputy abused his authority, retaliated against the man, arrested him and placed him in the back of his police car. But within 20 minutes, the man would be out of handcuffs, out of the police car, and receiving an apology. So what changed?

  1. We all know by now that regardless of the constitution, cops will always demand ID and escalate.
At the end of the bodycam the Supervisor openly criticised the victim and supported the other cops. That is why nothing will be done. Blue will defend Blue. They don't suffer any consequences.

  2. Both parties are pieces of shit. Arrested cop was in the right, but all his MAGA paraphernalia confirms that he's just another authoritarian asshole. Lesson: ACAB

  3. It’s serious I know but I laugh out of the ridiculous of the situation but the “I’ll see you in court” “ok sir have a great day” had me laughing

  4. I am really surprised that the cops did not all turn off their bodycams and huddle together to fabricate some BS story to save their fellow gang member. I guess they have dashcams also recording that they can't evade.

  5. Obstruction is one of the most abused statutes by tyrant cops. And btw, I wouldn't be so quick to celebrate these other cops for apologizing. Had that driver not been a cop himself, would they have been so concerned about a bad arrest? I think not… We need to do 5 things: (1) End qualified immunity; (2) Outlaw internal investigations; (3) Create Citizen Review Boards with the power to discipline and fire cops; (4) If a cop resigns under investigation, his/her LEO credentials are revoked; (5) Make cops pay 25% of any settlement or jury award.

  6. How TF is that not aggravated kidnapping with the use of a firearm when the cop had no legal justification for an arrest?
Bonus question: how many regular citizens get off on kidnapping with an “apology”?

  7. @23:13 straight up on camera, just open prejudicial bias. I'm not American, never liked Trump since long before his presidency, and none of that matters to what that dude just said.

Rights are for everyone, even those you'd say are trying to take them away.

  8. How is this still a thing? How are cops not trained today to shut the fuck up and go about their business when being recorded. I'm so sick of these videos, I can't watch them anymore.

  9. The DUI in 2019 should have been enough for termination, this incident in 2024 driving 80 in a 65 with no siren or lights and then violating the 1st and 4th amendment rights of Mr. Zatkalik should have been the final straw for this ignorant, egotistical and self righteous garbage.

  10. Police are empowered to enforce the law, not to break it. Once again, is there a functioning brain cell in this entire PD? Multiple ARMED to the teeth large men with rifles, armor, fancy cars with fancy paint jobs, multiple weapons on the bat-belt, and we are paying for all this nonsense, over a non-existent offense? Are we going to war here? These are freaking traffic cops! Who hires these idiots? Why do I get the feeling that they are not given an IQ test to see if they even have the reasoning and logic skills to perform law enforcement without making total asses of themselves? Why do I get the feeling that they are NEVER held accountable for this type of bullying, lying, wasting MY taxpayer money and resources and participating in all sorts of unconstitutional behavior? Adams county- THIS is how you want your officers treating law-abiding citizens? If I were a taxpayer in this county I'd be plenty pissed and I'd be calling the administrators of this county tomorrow.

  11. I agree the cop should be fired and banned from law enforcement for life. If they keep him on the force with his antagonistic attitude it will end up costing the taxpayers much more before they wise up. As for the settlement… I never made 80k (minus a third for the attorney) for 20 minutes of my time. If he'd been injured I'd be looking for a lot more.

  12. I have to say, regardless of the law and incompetence of the "arresting" officer, the reserve officer seems like a complete douche. Anyone with a mature bumpersticker like that is looking for a confrontation.

  13. HeySupervisor you know how you knew right off that, he shouldn't have arrested him so instead of saying, so let me go talk to him for a minute, get the man out of handcuffs immediately. That's been kidnapped and then talk to the nazi thug, who kidnapped a man because he caught him breaking the law.But first stop the kidnapping, don't go talk to the kidnapper.Stop the kidnapping first and then go talk to the kidnapper. And don't just talk to the kidnapper arrest. The kidnapper for kidnapping, a man because he got caught breaking. The law arrest the kidnapper and release the kidnappe.Don't go talk to the kidnapper and then release the kidnappe.Arrest the kidnapper after you release the kidnap b
