A man drinking beer on a North Las Vegas sidewalk resists arrest, then claims innocence after officers find multiple baggies of suspicious substances in his pockets. Police respond to a shots-fired call and discover a hurt man who was thrown from a car. Later, officers recover $60,000 worth of stolen convention equipment and chase down a suspect hiding in a bush after he flees a traffic stop.

  1. I like how this footage is inferior quality (like 480p or some other old broadcast resolution) but the logos and text are in 1080p HD resolution.
    Edit: AND the second story is about the theft of a BetaCam broadcast tape deck. 😅

  2. First story: "No, I wasn't downtown today trying to sell a $60k piece of video equipment." to people whose receptionist definitely saw him.
    Second story: "An exhibitor gave it (the $60k piece of video equipment) to me as a gift for helping him load his stuff.
    Third story: It was left on the exhibit hall floor and I took it because…there was no way to know whose it was."

    Three different versions in less than three minutes. To quote Chris Costa "…because, in law enforcement, we call this a clue."
    To be honest, Story #3 probably was closer to the truth than the other two, but I'm sure we can get a bit closer if we try.
