An officer-involved shooting is now under investigation after 36-year-old Salvador Maceda was shot by law enforcement on October 30 in Santa Maria, California. Officials say Maceda pulled multiple knives on officers and attempted to break into an apartment where a woman and her child were hiding.

It was justified because they did everything else before resulting in that and he was still trying to get in which is what led them to have to shoot as he wasn’t going to stop

It’s really sad that this was a justified shooting and they continue to do another investigation when the bad cops get away with DUI’s, no tags on golf carts, giving tickets because they can etc
Some people would say I am a hypocrite for what I am about to say but, in my strongest in, in this case, lethal force was justified. Why? Well, the cops took steps, use non-lethal measures 1st and foremost. The cops had no other choice but to use lethal force when this suspect placed other lives in immediate danger. Immediate threat was not imminent, so they had to use the last option. Bravo 5-O
