Epic Games, the creators of the popular game Fortnite, were slammed with a class action lawsuit by Canadian parents who claim the video game manufacturer purposely made Fortnite addictive. The Law&Crime Daily team has the latest on this story.

The developers of fortnite are pedophiles of course they're not going to restrict children. Play also make you play to pay the game but they sell the hacks out the back door that should be a class action lawsuit people are paying for a game not to be hacked every time one of these pedoes get beat
Maybe the parent should parent.
These parents would sue the whole world rather than admit they are completely incapable of saying, "No" to a spoiled brat.
What do you do when you're a crappy parent and don't put down firm rules about how much time your kid spends on the computer and/or plays video games? Why, you blame EVERYONE ELSE except yourself. I hope this gets laughed out of court.

If your kid isn't showering, eating, or sleeping because of a game, sounds like a lack of parental control and/or discipline. I'm not for big business but this is absolutely ridiculous! Load of crap, and disgusting.
The video game Ark survival is far worse then fortnite…. how are they not getting sued?
The game is rated T for TEEN. These parents let their kids play. Every platform the game can be played on has parental controls that they absolutely fail to utilize.
How a judge let this case proceed is beyond me. I love Fortnite, but this is just lazy parenting.
They did the same with world of warcraft when it came out parents need to parent not be best friends to children

Fortnite isn't addictive enough since i rarely touch it. The game has been beyond garbage since they introduced crossplay

Another fine example of parents trying to shift the blame onto somebody else, for their own inadequacies. How do you quantify the addictive nature of a video game? And the fact that a judge said, yeh, sound legit, is concerning. Obnoxious and ridiculous.
I only let my kids play video games 1 hr a week. It’s my job to limit game play…. Not epic games
