‘I Want a Lawyer’: Was Courtney Clenney Denied Legal Counsel During Interrogation?

OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney did not have a lawyer present while being interrogated by Miami police in April. “Say I want a lawyer,” the Law&Crime Network’s Brian Buckmire said clarifying that suspects must specifically ask for a lawyer to be granted their right to an attorney.

  1. As soon as a person asks for a lawyer that has to be the end of any interrogation. The police hate people lawyering up as it leaves them impotent, The very fact the police feel this way has to tell you something. Say nothing ever to them other than Lawyer now.

  2. That trick of saying you don’t have a Chance to give your side should be known as a lie to everyone Your lawyer will
Make sure you can give what you should And make sure you don’t give what you should t Just shut up , nothing you has can help other than. I WANT A LAWYER!!!!!!

  3. bru these situations make me so mad, it's not hard to say "I don't want to speak to you, I want a lawyer", they're always saying "idk should I get a lawyer" or blah blah, like cmon now…

  4. See I have a hard time judging people's reactions alone. Obviously I believe she is guilty but I wouldn't say that just based on her behavior here. I started dating my late husband when I was 14, he was my other half, my best friend, we were that couple who never got sick of each other, he was my entire world. When I was 28, he died. A routine surgery caused a complication that caused a whole series of events, ultimately ending with him in a medically induced coma with sepsis on a ventilator. The infection spread to his brain, it came out of nowhere. We did not expect that to happen.

it all felt surreal, none of it felt like it was really happening. I had been spending so much time at the ICU, but this evening his parents were there and I needed to go to target to get dog food for our dog and drop it off to my mom. His mom called me while I was in line at target to tell me the doctors just came in and told them that the infection spread to his brain and that he was brain dead. That there was nothing anyone could do, he was gone.

Now ..if I imagined this happening prior to that moment, I would imagine me like falling to the ground and screaming and crying and just .. idk but I didn't. I stood there in line. I was crying but not sobbing, I held it together, I responded back to whatever small talk the cashier was making while I was digging my wallet out of my purse. I got in the car, expected to break down but I didn't. I called my mom and told her and she was livid that his mom told me while I was alone and asked me if I needed her to come to target to drive me because she assumed I wouldn't be able to drive. I told her no, I was ok to drive. If his death had been a suspicious death and someone filmed my reaction for everyone to see, I feel like people would comment "oh she totally did it, look she's not sobbing hysterically, she's just standing there. It's like she doesn't care because she killed him"

I guess it was shock. Eventually the pain hits, I mean he has been gone over five years now and I haven't even considered dating, I still cry while driving past places we would go to together, I just didn't react the way I expected or imagined

  5. For killing him, what I feel she deserves is to spend every penny on her defense, only to loose. Then be sentenced to so many years u’s have to pay men to want to look @ her. These cops need to go buy the book though, it could hurt them in the end. God 4bid. Rip young man, wish u never met her

  6. @2:36 Clenney makes a statement here that is a lie "she said that she had never been in that type of situation before where someone had to go to the hospital" NOT TRUE. She had been arrested previously in las Vegas for throwing a glass at Obumseli's head and wounding him she went to jail, he went to the hospital. There is LVPD bodycam footage of her being arrested.

  7. What does She need a Lawyer for ??
She said that she wanted to stab him, and then she killed him…….. Game Set Match …. she will be lucky to get out by the time she is 50 years old

  8. It's a fine line, IMO. She asked to call her dad so that he could get the lawyer. They told her she could not call him. I felt like they manipulated the information to get her to sign.
