It’s almost like our local government is reflective of our federal government, skipping important steps to get actions of force approved and just going to work. Like how our troops are god knows where engaged in war-like tactics in other countries that congress hasn’t approved.

Schools should teach kids how to flop face down, spread eagled on the ground, when a cop talks to them. Kind of the modern version of the “Duck and Cover†training kids used to get to survive nuclear attacks during the 50s.
Oh my God, as a 27 year law enforcement veteran with over half of the time in management and administration and then going on to run a university criminal justice program training police and police applicants this video is an embarrassment. The St. Cloud Police appears to be a circus. Incredible. This falls right in the lap of the chief and the administration for a lack of training and failure in supervision. I'll be using these videos training police what NOT to do. If you need me as an expert witness I can be available for this case to testify.

There wasn’t any resisting until they started to inflict pain. Until I witnessed dozens of these cases of citizens injured after beginning to comply I always thought I would comply. Now knowing how common physical abuse is of detained people I’m thinking of what kind of delay strategies can I use until some trusted, witnesses, or higher authority is on scene. Whoever is teaching these tactics of pre-empting with overwhelming force is not taking into consideration how this is causing distrust and less cooperation with LEOs.

Could have done this with one AR aiming and a taser! And one person giving verbal commands and if he refused them you threaten with the K9. This was overkill (nearly).

Obviously these a-hole cops are board and have nothing to do. So they get a chance to flex their authority and go after this guy for no reason. I always believed that men who become cops are born cowards. I hope he gets a big settlement and that the K-9 cope loses his job along with a few others, maybe some jail time in with the general population would be nice.
This video, in my book, shows the most egregious use of unnecessary violence, I've seen in the 5 years I've watched this channel!
The sheer amount of officers deployed, against a a person of advancing years who, from very first contact, showed an obvious display of instant compliance, made my stomach turn!
I cannot now, after watching it twice over, think of a viable reason why a Dog handler would weaponise his animal in such a way! That a septuagenarian survived such a choreographed attack, without serious injury/death being the end result, is, in itself a minor miracle! How and why, in 2025, can this even happen! I am truly shocked to the core!
