Bath Township, Michigan — On October 6, 2025, around noon, Bath Township police began pursuing a man believed to be armed and involved in a domestic violence case. Officers spotted him driving a silver SUV on I-96 in Ingham County and requested help from nearby agencies as he refused to stop. As the chase continued into Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, dashcam footage showed the driver swerving erratically across lanes, slowing down as if to taunt officers, and repeatedly sticking his arm out the window to gesture at them. At one point, he used a highway turnaround to cross the median and drive the wrong way into oncoming traffic, narrowly avoiding collisions with other vehicles. Deputies attempted several precision maneuvers to stop him, eventually spinning out his SUV near an entrance ramp. The driver exited the vehicle, threw his hat to the ground, and continued to make gestures toward deputies before officers deployed a Taser and took him into custody. He was later turned over to Bath Township police without further resistance.

And what was his punishment ?
1:30 That's bad attempt, cop trying to pit him might send him on the oncoming cars. I don't care about the suspect but you can harm another drivers by hitting suspect in that spot. Especially at oncoming traffic because then speeds adds up. Last two bystanders cars were perfect at pit trajectory and in danger. Wait until there's space for it.

I understand this drivers frustration and non compliace. He did nothing wrong. I'm from the UK, but when I went to the USA last year, I noticed everyone was driving the wrong way and they had the audacity to blast their horns at me!

i swear, cops should give a command three times and then taze the snot out of the imbeciles. this telling and adult 20 times to do something is a part of the problem… they think they are dealing with their non existent father figures…one order, one warning, last warning taze or shoot as needed. nothing short of a seismic shift in the thinking of these law breakers will fix this. start tazing and shooting as needed and word will get out.
there was a time when people talked about "hanging judges" and back then criminals were much more civilized, they knew if they got out of line they would get hung.once the judges got soft, we see them trying to push the limit more and more. taze or shoot as needed as this shit will cease. the clue is to get rid of liberal soft hearted judges.
