How many people believe she asked for a divorce and kids -or she was going to tell more of the illegal crap he’s done so he snapped. She had more dirt on him you know she did . He tried to sell fake Warhol prints come on he’s done super shady things.
Absolutely horrible! Anna's mother must be going through a forever nightmare, especially after her daughter was begging her to come see her. I wonder if she would have been a victim too, had she come over. In a way whatever stopped her coming saved her life. As for the evil husband, I hope he meets his match in prison.

They are business people, so they likely have back taxes that would show when they purchase cleaning supplies for business, as they may like to take the tax write off. Now here he is buying $450 of supplies with CASH? That doesn’t make any sense and is very unlikely. Can he produce the cleaning supplies he purchased? If not, why not?
I suspect he figured she would be dead and he would collect social security for 3 children until they are 18, allowing him to continue not working. She was going to take that paycheck and leave him.
