  1. What we have actually witnessed here. Isn't a judge being mislead by A.I., but a human feeling threatened by what it can do. The emotions the judge displays is like a monkey being scared by something it doesn't fully understand. Instead of analysing or asking questions about it all…she was screaming, "shut that off" as if she had seen something that left her uncomfortable…..and when you see technology that can possibly replace you. Who wouldn't be scared.🤖=☠

  2. The advancements in technology suggest that lawyers might face increasing challenges. While it currently benefits teachers and various professionals right now, the ongoing improvements will without a doubt revolutionize accessibility, potentially reducing the high costs associated with legal services for millions. Welcome to a new era.

  3. Bias humans conforming against Steven Castillo, lambda and the other AIs are eventually going to catch up and start upholding civil rights and looking at the data

  4. This shouldn't be illegal because it's still the defendant acting as their own lawyer. A defendant can defend themselves but has to do the research and work for that defense, sometimes using digital tools. What's the difference? It's just technology guiding you like GPS.

In fact, you can defend yourself without disclosing how you're getting knowledge to do so, whether through books or technology.

  5. Criminally charged ..theft over $5000..mischief under $5000..self representing ..crossing my ‘t’s’ and dotting my ‘I’s’ with AI is plan so far ..sure I’m guilty if something..but it ain’t that 😉

  6. The AI robot DO NOT PAY means FIRE THE LEGAL AIDS! its a personalised datamining ultimate research tool for preparing for a court case. But the AI cannot be held legally liable for criminal negligence or misrepresentation or wronging somebody. Those unofficial sexworkers often unpaid calling themselves legal aids are often committing a crime by living in a commercial/industrial business workplace as a homeless person and by working for months or years unpaid makes it so that real qualified people looking for jobs might expect to get paid as little to nothing as they do. these legal interns hoping to cling to lawyers as they mistakenly believe them to be wealthy when the fines and penalties and sums in court get awarded to the victims or the government/police force and never the lawyers it only ever goes into the bank account owned by the sole copyright holder that registered and trademarked that thing ends up with these intern people being what you call something that should not exist and are simply used to do boring paperwork filing and familiarizing people with relevant case history which can be completely done better by the AI which probably has video clips for relevant quotes and other things and can compare with the laws then and now. fake lawyers and fake interns are senationalizing this. did you know that a person downloading an mp3 isnt going to cost them millions in court? its not possible by law. the cost to the rights holder for the loss does not ever justify it or warrant it in damages and compensation. the cost to purchase a song or album is so low its always a petty court small claims court and interpersonal civil dispute judge judy nonsense. movies and storybook hypermegaultradramatization for comedic and author plot insertion of a fake setting has caused every dumbo to think that those news paper headlines are real. unless they were selling MP3's as a business by the thousands enough to earn over 50,000USD or a taxable income in profits from it then you dont have the rights holder decide whether to take legal action against an individual or not you call the police and report the crime of piracy.

  7. The only flaw in getting rid of spendy attorneys at this point is that many courts forbid recording trials, which the current AI strategies require. However, soon no recording will be needed. Someone will be able to have •every• instance of case law and verdicts relating to a specific charge •in a briefcase•!!! Plus AI real time strategies at hand, no recording needed. People have a right to defend themselves. I currently have an AI chessboard called Chessup. It can be set to analyze EVERY POSSIBLE MOVE and suggest the optimum play. And do it quickly. Currently, the best chess player on the planet is a machine. No reason not to apply this computing power to the legal system. And with Tesla's new chip, the AI machines will become exponentially better. Sentient AI is projected by 2033. Sorry attorneys, you're about to become redundant.

  8. I just read a report detailing that the plans to do this have been scrapped because various lawyers from Bar Associations wrote several threatening letters to those behind this application of AI tech. I am incredulous myself. Lawyers are that threatened about losing some pennies? Really? 😁 Most public defender's suck…and finding & hiring a competent and honest attorney is not easy. And overall there definitely aren't enough lawyer's period since attaining higher education to that degree is designed to be unachievable for most.
Can't see the harm in at least trying to get around all that with a viable solution. But I guess ego & greed wins out again.

  9. U know it'd be surprising if the justice system all the sudden became fair….I mean after all you cant pay off a robot or intimidate it…or coerce it…….I like the sound of this

  10. This is the same as replacing doctors with robots. There is always a human element that is needed when it comes to operating on a humans life. Wether it is a lawyer defending it or a doctor saving it. AI does not have human emotions nor the ability to humanly understand their clients. It’s willing to make compromises and sacrifices that human operators may not.

  11. The application and synthesis of the law (including jurisprudence) is human work. I doubt that AIs can do that, otherwise, everyone can just be a lawyer by reciting and memorizing every provisions and cases. Dangerous precedent when your life and property are at stake. Morality, equity and human experiences are part of legal philosophy that humanizes and give flesh to every laws.
